My asus maximus VIII Hero Bios wont find my EVGA GTX 760 4GB SC ACX
 
Have anyone had the same problem ?

    Does the card also not show up in windows? Have you tried to use the card in another pci-e slot? Does the card work fine in another pc?

    it shows up in windows.. i have tryed the card in all 3 pci-e and the card dosent get picked up in Bios/efi

    yeah it says i have two options PEG or IGFX kinda confused about that... my card is quite old so that might be why

    switched it over to PEG from auto... but it still says no valid VBIOS

    No valid vbios? Where is that being shown? Since the card is showing up in windows can you install the drivers for it?

    no problem installing and using the card with the lastest drivers it just kinda bugs me when things arrent showing up correctly :-/
    might have to poke abit around in the Asus forums. since it is ther bios/uefi brand

    Odd..Make sure you have the latest BIOS installed for the motherboard, or at least version 3504 which improves VGA card (video card) compatibility.
     
    PEG mean PCI Express Graphics (video card)..IGFX means Integrated Graphics (CPU graphics)..Auto means the motherboard should detect when a graphics card is installed and auto-switch to using it and auto-switch to using iGPU graphics when no graphics card is detected in a PCI/PCIe slot.
