LockedAOI to Full Water Loop

Any suggestions?
It's a bit of a monster case: "Cosmos 2" from cooler master. Looking to get 4 1080 Ti's (no SLI for compute only) on the top 4 pcie. 64GB of GSkill Tridentz 3200. Probably put in another 64. 1 tb Samsung M.2 NVME that my x99 classified joyfully figured out!
Yes, my cable management is a mess
 

 
Pending purchases: 2 more 1080 Ti's and 1600W T2... and a bunch of pumps, tubing, fittings, radiators... this would have been fun in my 20's... now it seems like this might just be work :-)
 
Flexible vs Rigid tubing?
The cheap 1030 beneath the top Ti will be relocated to bottom for basic graphics output, simple air-cooled is plenty (and $85 card)
EKWB 2 pumps in series with 100 reservoir on top
run the loop through both the GPU's and CPU? or Leave CPU as AOI?
Space management, I have tons if I remove the bottom plate, the lower SSD area is empty
for 4 ssds and a old spinner that I will need to locate somewhere.
The 1080 Ti's will of course be EKWB complete cover blocks
 
Yes, this will be a project.
Any suggestions?

    Like you said..."this will be a project." I don't have watercooling myself so I'll leave others to chime in and give you advice there. Cable management is obviously something to work on once the watercooling is fitted. I won't say too much about watercooling as I just upgraded my rig on Saturday and cable management is the last part of that project that isn't finished.

    Step 2 research how much radiator will fit in your case, unless you mount them externally
     
    Step 3 where to mount pump & reservoir
     
    Step 4 how your going to plumb the GPUs together
     
    Step 5 Which fans & fan hubs your going to use
     
    Step 6 Type and number of fittings and hose size
     
    -Size matters -- thicker radiators are better
    140mm radiators offer much more area if your case can fit them
     
    Flex line is easy
    Hard line is more for aesthetics -- they have a bit of a learning curve

    I get some extra-credit for doing a "GamersNexus" mod to the 1080 CLC to fit the 1080 Ti's ;-) Would look a *lot* better if just Ti's were just factory air-cooled without the clc tubes - but MAN, what a diff liquid cooling makes, even just the evga CLCs. Never got above 50C on Timespy with no artifacts no matter how many times I ran it without breaks.
     
    I did not realize how hot these GPU's got until I began pushing models onto them (yes I'm an idiot). Made me a huge believer in liquid cooling.

    Yeah, that was a bit of a question, a 280 would actually fit in there better with everything else than a 360. Not going to do some formal heat transfer analysis but it seems like 280 should be enough surface area. Maybe keep the aio for the CPU and custom loop just the GPUs, have the GPU radiator blow out the front and clear the bottom for the pump + reservoir + tubing.
     
    Flexible is definitely the preferred choice.

    Completely different situation.
    It's doesn't matter did I see them or not I like to know that they are inside, on some parts are always visible.
    Maybe EVGA should add one more color, some version of grey, Titanium Grey or Platinum Grey.
    Why not, they fit with full black RIG.

     Without a doubt. Sleeved came in the 1000W T2 packaging. Ordered my final 1080 Ti today ("Kingpin"). Will have to upgrade to 1600W eventually
     
    My bank account is crying out in pain. Hence a 3 card system will serve my purposes. It may seem like massive overkill - but Kingpin is an excellent card to run for 24-7 compute. VRM's Galore! Will throttle at 70% of power. Modelling corrosion from 10 years of data at a petrochem facility. Owner of data will get free software to include in Monte Carlo simulations for future capital projects and I retain ownership and copyright of software (and trained model) to sell to other operators. That is, is all goes well - otherwise I will just play games ;-)
     
    Now I have to convince local college students to code for free to be part of the "glory" of a new venture and put on resume. They will sign NDA and give up all ownership rights :-)

    MERCURY S8S LIMITED EDITION GUNMETAL!
    He is smaller, cooler and accept all form factors as S8.
     
    I'm so sad because I can't afford that case, he would cost me arround 650 euro in  Europe.
    Because of that I need to wait Bullet BH8 to arrive, but S8S is my BIG WISH.
    I always thought that S8 is to big and S5 size could be compatible with E-ATX.
    Than they build S8S.

    I see you order EKWB ACF fittings.
    Only doubt I have about fittings for me. I need to order these days radiator CE280 and 10 fittings but I want without any mark Nickler/Chrome/Silver depend how call them.
    EKWB ACF have sign, Bitspower bottom part is somehow wider than top on 13/10mm 3/8 1/2. I would payed for Bitspower if need but like I sad bottom part is somehow wider on pictures...
    Than I saw Alphacool new series from 2016 could be find 6x for 25-26$. Alphacool Eiszapfen is name. But I didn't found experience from users.
    Price and look are great, adapter could be used EKWB because no logo.
    On some pictures is even bigger difference, only Bitspower 13/10 is like that...
     
       
    You will use big waterloop and than you need Dual D5 Revo. I have option to buy very cheap Dual D5 Revo with top as you order, for half price and used very short time.
    But that completely change whole concept of build I plan and I don't need dual pump or big reservoir. 80-100 is for me. I need to plan for my case now and for BH8.
    You computer will be fantastic. It's best when you have enough to build immediately everything.

    i would use as much radiator as you can fit in the case, a 360 minimum a 420 would be better, those 1080s will put some heat out. downside with 3 different cards is that you cant use a water connecting block between the three so i would put the gpus on their own loop, one pump should be enough head pressure for it.

    Bigger radiator = more friction losses = bigger pump

    The way to size an optimal radiator for any given system can be a rather complicated exercise in thermodynamics.

    Also... some radiators are simply more efficient at dissipating heat. Delta H per sq in...

    A “deep” 2 stack 280 radiator may be more efficient than a single stack 360 or even a 480...

    It is not always the case where bigger is better otherwise our computer chips would be gargantuan.

    Yes, not being able to use a mono-block to connect them will be a hassle. Using tubes will not look as pretty also.

The water blocks and rest of the plumbing are gonna set me back another ~1,500 - Will have to wait for bonus in April to continue on with what my wife insists is an expensive hobby...

    This is a pretty sweet project, not sure if you already choose the parts but from what I understand you want to watercool 4x 1080Ti's and other components, I would do dual D5's and use EK QDC's since you are using EK ZMT.  Not sure what case you plan on using but 4x 1080tis will dump a crazy amount of heat, you will probably need a very large case for this so you can get as much surface area for heat dissipation for the rads. Trust me using QDC's in your build, it will help out a lot when you change parts or need to replace coolant.  For coolant I would highly recommend Aquacomputer DP Ultra Clear.  For fans there are too many to choose from, but I would recommend EK Vardars, or Gentle typhoons, but entirely up too you.  As for controlling those fans I would recommend using an Aquacomputer Aquaero 6.  As for radiators, as many as you can fit practically.  I would recommend Hardware labs or EK XE/PE rads.  For fittings I would just get the EK ACF ones, they work great and are not super expensive  Best of luck with your build.   
     
    One last thing, get a Dr. Drop Pressure tester before you fill your loop and test components, could save you.
