Hello

I just got my RMA request for my faulty GTX 1070 SC approved and got emailed a shipping label along with instructions however the postage has not been paid and it seems I have to pay for it (can't see any further information about this anywhere)? I have never had to pay the shipping cost when dealing with other companies and I find it quite unfair if this is the case as I just paid almost £400 for the card and it's not my fault its not working properly! Can anyone advise!?

FYI I am UK based not US incase the postage procedures are different.

Thanks, and have a nice weekend.

    Pearsonia,

The Terms and Conditions for the warranty found at https://eu.evga.com/support/warranty/ state in the Shipping section.
    • The customer is responsible for the costs of shipping in order to return the product to EVGA for the RMA process.
    This is an industry norm.

Fairly certain that's against consumer rights in the UK having looked into it further in the mean time, but I'll have to look into that.

Thanks for the fast reply anyway.

You are welcome to contact your place of purchase for warranty service which is required under consumer law. EVGA's warranty is optional.

    Everything is security.

Yeah doing that instead, the box said go to EVGA so that's where the confusion began. Thanks all
