Hello Guys,

I started having issues with my Titan X SC recently and decided to go through my advanced RMA to get a replacement card as my card kept crashing my PC.

Now, From what i can tell, Everywhere on their site says " Of equal or greater performance"

from their warranty policy site " Products sent in for RMA will be repaired and returned or replaced with a thoroughly tested recertified product of equal or greater performance."

From the EVGA " what product will EVGA send me for replacement" thread by EVGA_RMA_JaysonC " If we are running low on the model you sent in for warranty rather than having you wait, our policy is designed to offer you the next model that we do have available in stock based on equal or greater performance. EVGA will not downgrade your product's performance,"

So... I feel kinda bummed out because My Advanced RMA shipped today and i noticed that the model number they are sending me is the base Titan X. I paid extra for the Titan X SC to have the peace of mind knowing it would run at the higher frequencies without stability issues and without me having to fiddle with the clocks.

Titan X
Base Clock: 1000 MHZ
Boost Clock: 1075 MHz

Titan X  SC
Base Clock: 1127 MHZ
Boost Clock: 1216 MHz

It is only a 12 % increase in frequencies but that still matters to me and I purchased the SC to have a couple of extra frames here or there.

Am I wrong for feeling burned by this RMA that i havent even received yet? I really was expecting a Titan X SC in return to ensure i had "Equal or greater performance" without having to overclock to achieve the same clocks and performance. I am 31 now and tired of crashing, blue screens and stability issues so i like to run stock. No more small voltage tweaks and a few MHZ here or there to fine tune. Pay for the speed up front and sleep sound at night is what i prefer now.

Thanks!
