hi,

i just purchase my first evga mb and i am very excited.
i have some questions and it will be great if you can help me:

01 IO-COVE
the z270 stinger is delivered without "io-cover", right ?
if yes does evga send the "io-cover" after registration for free ?
or i have to purchase it extra ?
if i think logic ..evga should send it for free because usualy the io-cover always is included ?

02 RAM
the ram compatibility on the evga site is not so good ...or big.
thats why i am a bit disapointed.

i would like to have 8gb = 2 pieces a 4 gb double-sided, someone told me
this set-up is the fastest. high mhz and the underclock them by go down with the latency as
much as possible.

i found something (BLE2C4G4D32AEEA, crucial ballistix elite) and while i am waiting
that the ram arrived i ask me if it is compatible with the z270 stinger...and if not
what more opportunities do i have ...

another ram i purchase for the z270 stinger  to test the compatibility is:
g.skill ripjaws f4-3000c15d-8grk

what are your experiences with ram-compatibility and evga z270 boards ?
have you some tipps for me to find the right ram ?
do you think the crucial an the g.skill ram i mentioned will work without problems ?

03  GPU
as graphikcard i purchase: EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 SC Gaming ACX 2.0 6GB (06G-P4-6163-KR)
do you know if it is compatible with the z270 stinger ?

thank you in advance

Got a little testy their since no one answered within a hr? The I/O cover comes with the MB, when youdecide on ram-check vs your MB specs with what it will handle, ( I recently bought the Z270 and installed 32gb ( 4 x 8) corsair vengenance sticks and works like a charm, the mb will handle any video card that your wallet can handle.. you do realize that this is a user, as in customer forum right? if you wanted a fast answer then you could have called the 24/7 support number. if you want truly bad customer service try gigabyte or asus, a comment like your second would have gotten you a lifetime ban there.

for your question, since you didnt state which i/o cover, the back cover (the one that goes in the case for the i/o ports is always included with every MB from every company. if you mean the cover for the inside then no the stinger does not have it (the z170 did )

as for RAM just about all will work upto about 3600, get some crucial or corsair 3000 and you will be fine

and for gpu yes all will work just fine

    01 IO COVE
Mine came with IO cover in the box. I believe you should contact your retailer if it's missing from the box.
    See https://youtu.be/hqqsj_4AVxY?t=207

    02 RAM
RAM compatibility should not be an issue in this case. One thing to consider though: stinger being an mITX board, if you are sticking with air cooling, you want to make sure you have enough headroom for your CPU heat sink. E.g. an Arctic Freezer would not fit on top of that RAM.

    03 GPU
Again, in theory, it should be compatible, but I would like to reiterate my concern on air cooling. As an ACX cooler dissipates heat into your chase, you should make sure you have adequate venting. E.g. in a tight fit case like EVGA Hadron you might experience some difficulties.
