I was so close to getting the 768-55-2633-T1, but then I noticed the backslash key is on the left hand side of the keyboard. Uhg. Will a future model have the backslash key on the right hand side above the enter key like the lesser powered SC17 models?

I will have our product team look into that. I am fairly sure that the 1080 model has the backslash on the right side above the "Enter" key. It is possible that the product photo is from a unit for a different region (which may have a slightly different layout).

I'd appreciate your time on that. I think there is a lot going for these 17" EVGA laptops.

I responded a week ago, but in another thread...whoops. Anyhow, here's what I said...
Typing on my SC17 (1070 w/o g-synch) and the \\ key is right above the enter key where you'd expect it. Initially I didn't like the keyboard, but it has grown on me.
