If you still play World of Warcraft, are the mage tower challenges driving you up wall too?

I don't get why so many people have a problem with the Pandaren. They have been a part of Warcraft lore since before WoW released. Also, as to not taking it seriously, its a universe with Goblins, dwarves, elves, etc running around, but Pandas are the tipping point? That's like when people question the plausibility or realism of something in the Star Wars universe when you have a bunch of space wizards running around who get their powers from magic bacteria. But hey, you do you, I'm not here to rain on anyone's parade. Just something I've wondered for a while.

No nothing to do with the fact they exist, i actually just cant stand east Asian culture, it bores me. I understand its rich and alot of people like it but i find it very very boring. Add to that the removal of skill from the game, and the entry of teir gear for the casual raider

I quit before the 1st expansion released. Was in a large raiding guild that did molten core, blackwing lair, and half of the bug area. When I realized Blizzard was about to negate all the work I put into the game I left.

I still play very frequently. I'm Mal'Ganis - Horde - Ragepro I can't say that the mage tower has really bothered me on my main (linked above) but that's because DH is a faceroll class. I havent even attempted the Mage Tower on any of my alts. I really only wanted the Flamereaper Artifact Xmog. There's other things that drive me nuts, like the Lucid Nightmare or the grind for AP on my weapon. What do you play?

934 Feral druid here, playing as 933 Resto until a few weeks ago in heroic raid progression (our guild is after AOTC achievements and only occasionally we'll throw some effort at a mythic raid boss). I've tried the resto challenge both right after it came out and finally again the last time it was up a few days ago. Never again. Not worth it. Still never made it past stage 1. However I went in and finished the feral one after never having tried it before in 5 attempts the last time it was up. Would have been fewer attempts even but I didn't move out of the way of the balls of death in time.

The mage tower challenges are too annoying for most players to complete them. I had to get a friend to help me on the druid guardian challenge. I wonder how many keyboards or mice have been broken from people raging over the challenges.

They say that they are meant to show that you're a master of your class.... In my opinion it's more how LUCKY you are with RNG. Sometimes the balls of death come out in an easily dodgeable manner and other times you're like holy crap. I definitely noticed that sometimes i got a lot further because things just "happened to go my way" and other times I'm 1 shotted worse than a lvl 1 in Westfall. Blizzard just loves to introduce stuff that's obscenely frustrating just so that the elite 15 yr olds can maintain their 'E-Thug Status'. If you can't play and do 600 pulls... you're not gonna be able to do it essentially.

played again for 3-4 months then stopped again. And yes the mage tower challenges are painful.

I stopped playing back in Cata just got boring and every expansion was about the same and you could pretty much just sit back in a pub raid and jump for purples. Hearing about Mage Towers making people upset is kind of funny since I got Rhok'delar, Longbow of the Ancient Keepers. Now that was a challenge back when the game wasn't a loot piñata for purples for everyone.
