Wish you guys would speak more about this case or at least show off it's versatility even if date/pricing isn't an option yet. Something to whet the appetite.

I'm sort of mulling over whether I want to upgrade a case or not, and that would also mean the difference between buying a 280 cooler (if I buy this) or a 240 cooler (if I don't).

If only you guys would allow other country credit cards, I would be so damn happy. =/
Otherwise, I will need to wait for newegg to have a bundle and buy everything together.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, its not a LCD screen. It will be a RGB EVGA logo. although that is would be cool to have.

Andy, can this be a suggestion?
Make it as aftermarket, a custom EVGA LCD info display (something like the DG8 have, showing temps, clock speed, custom text, etc..).

I would definitely pay some good money for this, no doubt :) Wether it should be mounted where the "hole" in the psu shroud for the DG-7 or if it should be an universal addon to cases (maybe magnets or simple adhesive?) wouldn't matter to me.

But then it would be pointless as you would have to remove the glass side panel to access the buttons, when you can just control everything via software on the desk top.

It's only function should be to show temperatures/stats, no need for access to its buttons etc.

Something like this:

They might as well make it with a USB 2.0 connection, so you just plug it in the USB socket from the motherboard and control via software on your PC.
Just to make clear, this type of socket:

Sure, all the "how it's done" is all up to EVGA if they decide to make such a product :P

I just wish it comes reality at some point because I think lots of enthusiasts would want this in their windowed case.

Yep, that's where I cropped the picture from.

However this is not what i'm interested in since this is just like adding an additional monitor to your setup where you can move stuff over to, which in this case is the CAM software he puts there.
Also windows do not treat having different hz monitors very well, you'll be losing a ton of frames because windows wont be able to figure out if it should run 60hz or 144hz for example, thus constantly jumping inbetween (Here's one of the many videos showing the issue https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g5s3b_ZnyF0 and here's a huge bug report about it https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/0fb7433a-b0ec-4b01-a9cf-0cbe904b111a/windows-10-with-120hz-60-hz-monitors-issue?forum=win10itprohardware

I think in this month we might hear something new, since the ETA would be to november.

Any chance we could get an update with the case specifications anytime soon? I'll be buying hardware fairly soon and I want to know if everything is gonna fit.

Air cooler clearance, x amount case fans etc.

If I'm not mistaken,
The DG77 and 76 will have the GPU Riser cable included (or only in the DG77 model, don't recall exactly), and the included fans in the models may differ in each one (DG77 should come with the most avaible fans if not mistaken).
The DG75 will not have the logo on the PSU, minus GPU riser as well.
The DG73 will have a side window with acrylic made, minus GPU riser.

I think that's it. Gotta wait for EVGA to make a definitive statement this month, since launch is scheduled to november.

I really hope it's gonna be out by the end of November because that's my deadline, kinda scared it wont be since we aren't getting any updates at all when its so close to release - we don't even know the specifications yet :/

So there is no dedicated matx cases then? I was hoping dg77 was atx, dg77 was matx.

If so what is the benefits of a evga dg7 over a Corsair 570/460? The GPU riser seems pointless as your taking up a whole board of space for a single card where you can put 2 or 3.

Unfortunatly, most of the Motherboards out there are ATX format.
Makes sense they make it possible to fit up to a ATX motherboard on their case.
I'm a big fan of mATX form factor, but, not all companies are comited to produce a case for this form factor.

Now, one can use the GPU riser to mount his 1080ti vertically, and use the other slots for PCIe Sound Card, M.2 adapters, PCIe wifi/bluethooth cards and so on.

The issue I see is that the riser card doesn't give you enough space to mount a sound card and such. It approx less than 80mm from board to the back of the GPU.

I don't know if that is going to be the final size of the riser.
Otherwise, there are a few longer risers from EZDIY from 90mm to 250mm.

The interior of the case is roughly 120mm wide judging by the fan in front. Then minus the motherboard depth (let's say 10mm) and the GPU width (let's say 30mm) gives you about 80mm to play with.

Yup.

I'm very tempted by the new NZXT H400i.

I'm interested in the H700i too, but I wont be buying any of my parts until the end of November, so I'll get to see what DG-7 brings.

H700i is pretty nice deal tho. Maybe not at first glance but when you look at what features and accessories it comes with, then its quite good (Look them up on NZXT's site). Will be hard to beat imo.

So sent a message to EVGA asking about their "DIY Configurator", as both my wife and mine computer s were smashed by the moving company. I'm talking caselabs case is actually bent and petg tubing snapped.

Anyways asked about x299 ftw and DG7 and was told that they would both be out in a few weeks. I think they are trying to release them next to each other. Thought someone would like to know, I hope I can snag 1 or 2 to rebuild my wife and mine computers.
