Unfortunetly could not wait any longer, beast is under construction

only PSU and GPUs are with "e" logo...
:(

This will be great RIG. You didn't made mistake, Rampage VI Extreme and Apex are gods for X299.
She shine inside your RIG like magic. In Win S-Frame is amazing as well.
Rampage VI Extreme is even nicer mobo than Rampage V Edition 10. Only RGB lights spoiled most of pictures for advertising and people didn't had real experience how board is beatufull. Is it strong and heavy? I think YES!
Amazing motherboard with really unreal price...

ok I understand completely what you are saying and you are right. but here is the thing to get the cards to work and get up to the 90 +% mark you have to have more than the cards first they need a load that will demanded the work out of the cards. second u need enuff cpu to keep up with the cards or they will bottleneck and throttle. I found on my reg with 1 card and 1080p 144hz monitor I could gsync at 144 at near 70% 2 cards at40% and 4 cards almost never went over 15%. but go too 2k res and same test 1 card was at 98% to gsync at 144 and would start to get hot after a short time. 2 cards we at 55 to 60% and 4 cards got up to about 25 % .but goto 8k res and 1 card is at 98 to 99 % but could not get anywhere near gsync of 144 2 cards did beater but still would not gsync at 144, but now 4 cards would gsync at 144hz at 85% but here is where cpu had problem with bottleneck. I could trun gsync off and push oc on cpu back up to 4.8g instead of my normal 4.6g that would let gpu's come up to 92 to 94% and frams got up to 170 or so. problem is everything gets realy hot in the room lol . but let the 4 cards run at gsync of 144 at 8k res they almost never go over 45c but cpu stay up at 75 to 80c .I have a very nice and very nice ocing and stable 5960x. that is why I got the i9-7980xe and want the x299 dark mb .I want to see if it can handle the power the NVidia titian x (pascals). going to put my 4 titan blacks back in wowhunter2 , they do a grate job they pull my 8kres setup at 70 to 90 frams .but like I said before my 2nd pic is the asrock oc. and I am also going to setup to a phasechanger for cpu cooling and see how I do with this. I also don't understand why you arnt using them both all the time that is a easy thing to fix .

I have owned both Asus and EVGA boards.  Asus support is good, but slower.  EVGA gives more support options in case of a problem.  I RMA'd an Asus board to get the bios chip replaced...took total of close to two weeks.  EVGA has faster options for RMA (whether you pre-purchase or after the fact).  EVGA techs much more patient and will stay with you while you troubleshoot.  Both make excellent products and failure rates are both low.

Dude, i love EVGA, that why i have their GPUs and a PSU that actually is superflower with their logo and 40% price upgrade :)

There is question what would i chose if i was presended with a choice. But there is none... There are no EVGA x299 mobos on the market in this segment.

People started asking EVGA "when?" before x299 launch. And there is not a sinlge piece of information about "when".

Just got tired of waiting and i am very happy with my current setup

I guess X299 should only be considered over Z370 if you use multi-gpu or need more cores than 6?

Exactly. Or if you just want it. This has been the case with all previous HEDT platforms.

Why you didn't replaced BIOS chip.
I think it's possible on all ASUS boards to replace BIOS chip if you have them.
My motherboard have two, but I would rather do that myself than to send whole motherboard in service.

look I said the boards are grate the support to me is not . it's like cars lol some like ford some like chevorlet ect... and I have a asus board in wowhunter1 and that is the very reason I will not go back . it does a grate job . you can find it in mod rigs and it was the last one for me . that's just me . I been into micro's and msi's tell thin and just keep looking for the best for me . not what is the best for you . even if your best is 100 times better than mine i'm happy and you should be we all get to have what we want right ? that's why there are so many different ones to pic from small all.
and your build is wow I love it and have wanted to see a s-win frame build

Rampage VI Extreme is perversion but more for guys who don't care if they pay 500 or 1000$ for motherboard and profit from
platform and could afford 128GB memory and i9-7980X.
Dark and Apex are boards for wild overclocking, delidding, mirror polish of heatspreader
and gamers who are not satisfied with Z370 and don't care for 9 fps more in games.
They want 30-40% faster processors generally as i7-7820X or i9-7900X and to OC them.
I'm always on side of i7-7820X than i7-8700K.

Hi guys, any news on the availability of the X299 Micro in Europe?

If I'm not mistaken it's been two months the Micro is available in the US, yesterday I checked with ScanUK they have it, too, but what's up with the EU store of EVGA? Come on guys when do we get some love here?

Unfortunately I could not wait any longer as well. So sad but very happy with this build. With these processors keep an eye on your system voltage. Mine is pulling over 900 watts stress testing with AVX-512 load. May need to upgrade your power supply. I did to be safe. Oh by the way your build looks awesome!

i got FTW-K but it downclocks all of my i9s

waiting for EVGA feedback on this matter as I lose a lot of performance comparing to cheaper Micro and even cheapest MSI X299

works fine with 7740X... 5,4GHz fine :)

Hmm, I'll have our team look into this.

If you want to PM me or email me (or just post here) a more detailed explanation of what's going on, it may lead to a faster resolution.

I wrote you a PM but I cant find it in my "sent box"... :(

Anyway
Have lots of CPUs, few X299 mobos and RAM speeds.
If I can provide you with some information I would appreciate your help as I would really like to use FTW-K in my main PC
