I have a corsair 760t case and just purchased this card.  I had a FE but sold it to go water cooled along with my cpu.  I had planned on mounting the radiator on the bottom as that is the only fan mount that cant do larger than 120mm.  When I opened up the box I saw a note that said to mount the radiator above the graphics card.  This would mean in the back of the case.  But I already have a 140mm fan there and the rad is only 120mm. I just got a bunch of corsair ml fans with  white leds to go with my white case and that would mean I purchased an extra 140mm and would need to buy another 120mm.  Obviously I plan on using the corsair ml fan on the radiator but that would mean I'm stuck with the 140mm that I can't use and have to purchase another 120mm.  Do I really need to mount the radiator up there in the back of the case or can I mount it in the bottom?

It's recommend to mount it above the gpu, but you can mount it anywhere you want.

whats the reasoning for having it above?  Will the pump have to work more if its below?  Do you have a hybrid and mount it above or below?  Thanks for the answers, I'll use your affiliate code now as I register my card!

To keep air bubbles from forming or getting stuck in the pump.

Nope.

No.

The best placement for the radiator is above the card with the hose connections oriented on the lower side.

Damn, wish there was some way I could use a 140mm fan on the rad.  Do you know how good the fans that come with the card are?  I am assuming the corsair ML fans are better...
