Sajin Obviously my gpu is picking up the slack. I use to run 3200 MHz on my ram. Decided to drop it back down to 2133 for stability purposes. Didn't notice any difference between 2133 & 3200 except for running ram benchmarks.
I will chalk it up to benchmarks being skewed. A little hard to believe that with only one thing faster, your scores are “significantly” higher. Benchmarks feel like they have become pay to play lately, and this just makes it look more like that.

IMO, benchmarks have always been pay to play.

the_Scarlet_one I don’t understand the scores either. Satin, what is your motherboard Ram speeds?

HeavyHemi Okay, I run 2088 on the core and 12.1 on the memory. That doesn't explain the score or the 30% higher you get on your processor with a 100mhz less on the clocks (yes I know you have 4 more threads). Just trying to figure out a ~12% difference. https://www.3dmark.com/compare/spy/2527626/spy/2523236 SLI / CrossFire Off Off Memory 11,264 MB 11,264 MB Core clock 2,076 MHz 2,063 MHz Memory bus clock 3,053 MHz 3,248 MHz Driver name NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Driver version23.21.13.8792 22.21.13.8541
8 core vs 6 core. I only beat you by like 2-3 fps in the graphics tests.
8 core versus 8 core, lower clocks on your system: https://www.3dmark.com/compare/spy/2532260/spy/2523236# I am curious why my mem clock bus is showing at 101 mhz.. Time for a restart to figure that out.
Yes, but I have 13,000 on my vram. 3dmark reads the clocks wrong at times.

HeavyHemi I'm stuck on trying to figure out where, since we're running higher GPU core clocks, he's getting another ~10%.
It’s all in the $$$. That’s all I can think is timings on the 1080ti KPE and the unlocked power limit. My guess is mostly the power limit not holding the card back... Other than that, it doesn’t make sense at all.
I figured out that the sysinfo is reading the core clock on card 1 and memory clock on card 2, because that definitely makes sense.
I've flashed the FTW BIOS (127% power target) and was pretty much flatline at 2088mhz with 12.1ghz on the memory. So far I've never had artifacts on the memory. I should try a run at 13hghz for the giggles... I'll be back...
You were able to flash a FTW bios to your 1080 ti FE? Nice.
Sure. Flashed the FTW3 BIOS for the 127% power limit. The *problem using it is that it doesn't use the same fan profile in the BIOS. So, at the default idle fan speed it almost cut in half on RPM and 100% is like ~3000 RPM, well under the default speed. Not that big of a deal... But anyway, an extra 800mhz on the RAM isn't the reason for your ~12% higher GPU score.

Lets see your 12.1 run vs your 13 run.

I top out at 12.2. In any event, a few percent in memory speed doesn't translate to a higher percent increase in performance. That, is impossible. But I am sitting at #100...until someone runs another one and knocks me off....

Graphics score 5073 32.27FPS / 29.73FPS. 1080ti core 2050 - 2038MHz. Mem 12276MHz. Total score 4205 (7600k @ 5GHz). 350W power limit doesn't seem to be enough for Graphics Test 2, some power throttling in the beginning of the test which reduces core clocks for a few seconds. Before this, power throttling only happened in Furmark. Need the asus XOC bios, aorus 1080ti with 375W limit or kingpin with 390W power limit to maximize the result in this benchmark.

Valtrius Malleus Your memory is clocked so high. Almost 13GHz! Is that the Kinping or a 12GHz model?
That's a Kingping Sajin have there.

Unless he wrote the word "Kingpin" on an older card with a sharpie.
