Have anyone, in the z170/z270 chipset manage to arrange a RAID0 on m.2 SSD via extender kit? I don't even know if this is possible in the same PCIe socket.
I tried to search it all over, but didn't found a proper information on this type setup.

The extender is like this one (this is a x16 PCIe extender, for 4 m.2 SSD).

Case: Asus Z370-G Box / MB: Asus Z370-G / CPU: Intel I7 8700K / Mem.: 16GB (2x8) 3000Mhz Corsair Dominator Platinum DDR4 / GPU: GTX 1080TI FTW3 / A.I.O. W.C: EVGA CLC280 / PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA G3 750W

i dont think its possible on evga boards, you would need the bios to be able to split the lanes, asus does this with some boards, they even have a 4 slot adapter. this video explains it a bit more

    Damn.
    =/
In the video you posted Quad, that is only supported with Intel X299 and TR X399 correct?

If I'm not mistaken, some adapter have a chip that do this function, of splitting the PCI lanes (can't confirm it, but I think so).

yes with the intel boards you need the vroc thing to do any more than raid zero and its limited to the slow intel nvme drives, intel really screwed the pooch on this one, with the AMD stuff i think it may only be threadripper since it has a insane amount of pcie lanes and no dongle thingy needed, just a board that will split the lanes. as for add in cards i believe there are ones that can do it, the revo drive kinda did something like that
