I'm having an issue getting my E760 to detect my recently purchased Intel Pro 1000 PT Quad Nic.  Does the old x58 platform or maybe the Intel Chipset 10 not support newer NICs in the PCIe ports?

Things I've done to test:
I've updated the Chipset to the latest version on EVGA's Support site.  Not detected.
I've updated the bios to the lastest revision (83).  Not detected.
I've Move the card to every PCIe port (barring the top two - that's where my GPU lives) to see if it was a bad port.  Not detected.

Any thoughts / tips or tricks?

Maybe the card is bad. DOA, can you test it in another computer?

Yes.  Tried it in the following systems with the following efforts to detect it:
    Systems:
Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3H with Latest Bios, Updated Chipset, Windows 10 v1607 (and then upgraded to 1703 to see if that would help).
EVGA x58 Classified E760 Model with Latest Bios, Updated Chipset, Windows 10 v1703.
