My evga supernova 650 makes a strange ticking sound at random intervals (Not constant) when under heavy load in games.
Is this something I should be worried about with a 3 month old build when I have only just noticed it?
I have not had time to test it as I noticed it last night before sleep, so it may only be in certain games but I'm pretty sure I heard it whilst on desktop a few times.
Specs:
Motherboard: MSI Z270 Gaming Pro Carbon
CPU: Intel Core i7 7700K @ 4.8GHz
GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 1080 GAMING X PLUS 8gb
RAM: 16GB Corsair DDR4 Vengeance LPX Black,
Storage: 2TB hard drive | 500gb Samsung 850 EVO
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master MasterLiquid 240
PSU:650W EVGA SuperNOVA G2
I have a pretty power rig so I'm very worried about my psu right now and the possibility of it ruining my parts.
Is this common? Will this cause problems?
Thanks in advance.
