first of all can i do it .. can i exchange my less than 90 day old GTX1080ti SC Black edition . was bought from amazon not from EVGA EU store . but as i have not registered the GPU yet i would need to purchase the extended warranty first from 3 years to 5 years to qualify ..

IS this the case or is it only for products bought from EVGA EU ?

Only reference cards make it onto the step-up list.

Step up is a joke and will let others know it is on forums in the UK ..(6 forums) and facebook .

I upgraded my warranty as i was outside the 14 day window so upgraded to the 5 years and then was able to use the step up ..hahaha what ever ..the highest card i can choose which is actually a lot more than what i paid from amazon uk is the same card i already have ..The GTX 1080ti SC black and it states i can  only choose a ref card .. it goes from the 1080ti the only 1080ti and then goes down to a 1060 ..haha what a joke this is  ..

so in theory EVGA want more money for the same card i already have ..Pure Thieves !!!!

oh and i wanted the basic Hydro version to my card as its the same card with waterblock 11G-P4-6399-K

I'm very sorry for the confusion, but we do state on our Step-Up Terms

    STEP-UP INVENTORY - WHAT CAN I STEP-UP TO?
EVGA maintains a list of current graphics cards as well as motherboards available to Step-Up to. Products listed are mostly stock (not factory overclocked, or water cooled) due to stock limitations.

I do apologize that you were not aware of this.

well if i already have the card that is the highest on the step up program why even put the option on the product on my owned products ..i mean if i have the highest card then why even give me the option to step up ? there shouldn't be any step up button .

If a volta reference card released in the next 90 days, and was added to the step-up list you could step-up to it.

i have 20 days left to step up . and the chances that a Volta card coming out is 10 trillion to 1 in 90 days never mind 20 . lol
