    EVGA did not confirm it.
But there is one mysterious MB out there, somewhere.
(look at botton of the benchmark).

I was about to go with the x299 platform as well.
But seeing all the fiasko it went, I just avoided the idea of upgrading to x299 platform (since I'm going only to game, the z370 chipset will be more then enought).

    +1 on EVGA C.S.
For sure I'm going to wait for a Matx MB from EVGA.

An industry can only afford this ... not serious when it's overvalued many times !
    It makes me uncomfortable.

Yep spotted that little leak too. Gave me hope!

Totally agree, I was looking at the X299 platform and then glad I didn't go for it as I would want to overclock and the sheer power draw, heat from the VRMS etc plus where the heck is the X299 dark mobo EVGA!???! was this ever for sale. Did anyone manage to get one???

    Totally get NDAs but...

I did pop onto the live EVGA POD cast chat and ask about the Z370 EVGA mobo but got no reply from Jacob and co so now we have Beef! haha! :p

I also emailed EVGA customer services which mentioned to just keep watching the news on the EVGA website as they can't talk about it.

I really hope EVGA get motherboards ready for launch, I'm only looking at the EVGA classified (or a dark) if I go EVGA. NDAs aside, stop waiting to see what other manufactures screw up first EVGA haha! I want an EVGA mobo this time but if it's not available @ launch I'll have to go Asus again.

    Rant over =)

since intel totally muffed the whole x299 thing and launched early and the coffee lake stuff seems to be a bit ahead im thinking they will be a wait on z370, gigabyte, asus and msi are already putting boards out so there is hope that evga is on track also. it does make me wonder about the whole "the 8700 needs better power delivery" thing, evga boards have some of the best power delivery on the market so the real reason that these new cpu's wont work is any bodies guess.
