Hey guys, I need a little help from you all if possible.

I recently built a new computer and had some old components laying around from my initial build. GPU's, board, cpu, etc. I decided I was going to turn it into a dedicated folding/mining rig instead of selling it all off because I'm not worried about power etc. But the one thing I am missing is a case. I recently tried the Thermaltake Core X9 but it was just way more massive then I initially thought. I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for an E-ATX Case that could fit 4 GPU's some with AIO coolers attached but not be insanely massive. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Xarzi

Your going to need a large case for 4 - GPU, even if they are AIO cooled

E-ATX sized MB limits your choices -- my current new build will be with a Thermaltake View 71  (I have the case already)

    from link above:
"View 71 TG has an eighth slot to support both XL-ATX motherboards and the installation of a double-slot graphics card in the bottom slot of an ATX motherboard"

I'm also a fan of Phanteks cases, great value and quality - Primo is a large case - see my Mods Rigs build

I've not tried any of the EVGA cases "yet"

I took a look at the EVGA cases and they are okay. But I really hate the design with those front and rear swing away opening.

Is there any measurements for max size? I personally liked Phanteks Enthoo Primo, its pretty large.

Def going to need a full tower case. So why not go to the originators of the high end quality case designs: http://www.lian-li.com/en/dt_portfolio_category/full-tower-chassis/
PCV2130, PCX2000FN, P80 ARMORSUIT, PCV750, PCV2120, and the PC80N all have 10 expansion slots or more and will fit quad sli. They are kinda pricey but they are ALL aluminum cases, every inch is.... no plastic at all, plus the V series cases are hand crafted to a certain extent and tend to retain some value cause many of them go out of production and some of them end up being highly sought after. Im def a little biased toward Lian-Li but its def for good reason. Little Devil cases are also well built and all aluminum builds too. You would need the PCV8 or PCV10 cases though cause they have the 10 expansion slots. http://www.ldcooling.com/shop/13-computer-cases   Mountain mods is another good case maker that you might want to look at http://www.mountainmods.com/computer-cases-c-21.html?osCsid=vr24808ovue1d7o0034dhentv0  Case Labs is a real good one too, but again a little pricey cause your getting very good quality  http://www.caselabs-store.com/magnum-sth10/   Silverstone has the TJ11 that you might want to look at too: http://www.silverstonetek.com/product.php?pid=292&area=en  Hope that helps brotha!!

3rd vote here for one of the Phanteks Primo cases. I'm very happy with all of the Phanteks cases I've had. I know there are better ones out but for the price the value is really good IMHO. If you don't mind to splurge LianLi and CaseLabs are top notch.

If you haven't bought it yet, how about a Fractal Design Define XL 2?  It has noise dampening materials so your case will be quiet, and use plenty of fan ports.

I own the version 1 of the case, and I tell you, it's quiet.
