I got a new graphics card not too long ago and used it with ultra on most my games after downloading the appropriate driver. I used for a week and then in the middle of a siege match, it kinda glitched out for a sec (massive coil whine), then my monitor stopped receiving signal. However, I could still hear the match continuing and I was still able to talk to my friends on TeamSpeak. I restarted my computer and it will either work again or will not work until I take the battery out of my motherboard. After it continued to crash I learned that the 1080 is not compatible with windows 10. SO I downloaded Drivereasy and updated all my drivers. still didn't work.
Do I need a new DVI cable? I don't have another monitor to test anything with. I'll post my processor and my motherboard and hopefully we could figure something out. LOL
Thank you.

The person who told you the 1080 isn't compatible with windows 10 doesn't know what they are talking about. A 1080 is fully compatible with windows 10. Does the monitor lose signal when using a different output other than DVI? Do the fans on the gpu spin up to 100% when the monitor loses signal?

The 1080 definitely works with Windows 10. Who said it doesn't?

What power supply do you have? And is the BIOS on your motherboard updated? (wouldn't think it would matter but ive seen stranger things)

Unless this person was talking about this (which doesn't apply here).  Click for larger image...
