Anyone having issues with tasks not uploading after being finished with VGTU?

No issues here, just woke up here.
Had 8 tasks ready to upload, sent an update and all uploaded and reported as normal..

Hope you get it worked out.

I can Moo on the 32bit rig. So that is what I am doing now.

Still weird

What are your settings, for GPUGRD I have to set mine to 1 and 1 or 1 and 2.
If you set below like 0.5 it seems to not get any GPUGRD tasks (sometimes that is)

I was at 0.01 like all my 64bit rigs, set to 1 and still could not get tasks, oh well.
back to Moo..

Will look at installing 64bit and use the 32bit key as Bill suggested...later today...

When I was running VGTU, it often saved up 2-4 "complete" tasks before it decided to send in any of them.

 Moo Wrapper does the same thing sometimes, but the tasks there are so much shorter it's harder to notice.

Now that vorsholk has stopped his abuse, I'm returning to folding.
 I no longer MOO due to abuses by certain "whales" in the Gridcoin community - so I now work the Distributed.net project directly again.

This project did this to me last week, had the tasks sitting done for a couple days, but I could get new tasks.
I had to del the project to get rid of them.

So I did some research and found I had to change my CC_config file, and add this line
<http_1_0>1</http_1_0>

Seems my computer does not want to communicate with this one server in HTTP 1.1 but HTTP 1.0 is fine.
Once I did that and hit retry upload, bada bing bada boom, booyah. Stinking computers.

0.01 is to low for an 8 - 12 hour project task, give it a try with 1.0

I wonder if this is based on our Internet Provider with needing "<http_1_0>1</http_1_0>" in or cc file.

No big deal really, I have all my other GPU's on GPUGrid, and 2x 970's on Moo

I was looking but could not find a app_config file for multiple GPU's per task on GPUGrid.
Does one exist?? or just is not supported??

Not a Project that will work with more than One Task Per GPU.
This is what I use, if you want to try running 1 Task with 2 GPU then I have made the Changes in the second config.

<app_config>
   <app>
     <name>acemdshort</name>
     <gpu_versions>
         <gpu_usage>1.0</gpu_usage>
         <cpu_usage>0.2</cpu_usage>
     </gpu_versions>
   </app>
   <app>
     <name>acemdlong</name>
     <gpu_versions>
         <gpu_usage>1.0</gpu_usage>
         <cpu_usage>0.2</cpu_usage>
     </gpu_versions>
   </app>
</app_config>

Give this one a try for 1 Tasks on Two GPUs

<app_config>
   <app>
     <name>acemdshort</name>
  <max_concurrent>1</max_concurrent>
     <gpu_versions>
         <gpu_usage>2.0</gpu_usage>
         <cpu_usage>0.5</cpu_usage>
     </gpu_versions>
   </app>
   <app>
     <name>acemdlong</name>
  <max_concurrent>1</max_concurrent>
     <gpu_versions>
         <gpu_usage>2.0</gpu_usage>
         <cpu_usage>0.5</cpu_usage>
     </gpu_versions>
   </app>
</app_config>

Let us know if it work!

I have to copy-paste other people's app_configs, but after that I do attempt some tweaking. Regarding GPU's and the cpu usage setting, the ONLY thing the cpu setting does is to reserve the cpu. If a task needs to use one whole thread, it's going to use that whole thread no matter what you put there. If it needs the entire CPU (4/8/12/128 threads), it will use it, again, regardless of your settings.

Milkyway uses up to one full thread per task (at the 20/40/60/80/100% marks), so if you have dual cards, each running 3 GPU tasks, you are going to need to have 6 available threads to feed the beasts. You absolutely do NOT want to starve the GPUs of CPU cycles. (in my opinion)(for maximum point output)

I always just set my GPU cpu usage to some ridiculously small number, like .001. Then I run only GPU tasks for a bit, and watch my CPU usage. From there I can see how many threads I have left to run CPU projects, and use the BOINC manager's CPU usage to control that. Not very efficient, but I'm not very smart. ;)  The reason I do it this way is because if the GPU app is set to .5 or 1 CPU, BOINC manager will often times suspend the GPU app, because some other CPU app has a shorter deadline for example. It treats the GPU app with a high CPU setting as just another CPU task that needs to wait it's turn.

This may seem wasteful, for example I can only use 3 of 12 threads on my primary computer for CPU BOINC tasks, but you gotta remember the vast output of a decent GPU versus the output of a CPU thread/core. So don't starve your GPUs.

Sorry for the long-winded-not-well-thought-out reply. :D  Hope it helps.

Congrats on taking 3rd by the horns!

Just some updated info on  MilkyWay@home and DP on our Titans.
Two GTX Titans with DP Enabled in the NVIDIA Control Panel OC'ed to 1045MHz Max voltage set.
Intel i7-4960X Extreme Edition LGA 2011 Processor HT Enabled

 Their are No CPU Tasks Running.

Think I will go with this.
Just some updated info on MilkyWay@home and DP on our Titans but only running 16 or 8 Tasks Per GPU.
This way I use 99% of the GPU Power.

Only 45 million behind our target now!

I'm sticking with GPUGrid for a bit.
This is a project I have neglected for some time, and am way behind most of our active teammates.

Up for any CPU projects that may help. Let me know...

Good think that it was not Universe @ Home as no one can logon their site ATM. (Over a week for me)

 Due to spammers automatically creating accounts, account creation can and will be disabled at our discretion. Furthermore, this project is reaching its ending phase probably somewere in 2018. This means as long as the software runs and the OS receives updates (EOL 2020), the project will be maintained, but automatic work creation will stop for sure.
