For 2100 euros... (roughly £1900)
 
At this point i'm wondering if EVGA is purposely trying to sabotage themselves. I am completely and utterly confused.
 
The laptop has a 120hz panel + gsync, 16GB RAM, i7 7700HQ, 256GB NVMe SSD + 1TB HDD. But guess what? So does this one for £1300

Not sure what you're trying to do here EVGA but this not 'Intelligent Innovation.' Don't know about the rest of you but i feel like i've waited so long for this laptop only to be trolled on price.

If you were to look at a prebuilt desktop PC in the UK from SCAN for example with only Intel graphics but the same processor that would cost you about 1100 pounds. So for a laptop using a GTX 1060 which costs about 1853 pounds (approximate exchange rate) and a 120 hertz refresh rate is pretty good actually.

That laptop is the same as the EVGA SC15 spec for spec apart from that it has a GTX 1070 GPU in it. So why would i pay more for a laptop that has a lower spec GPU you in it? Don't get me wrong, i like EVGA stuff and i've bought it for years. I prefer the SC15's keyboard layout too. But the only way i'd buy the SC15 over the Asus GL502VS is if the SC15's price was £100 less than the Asus laptop.

For real. It's a buyers market and if you are willing to spend £1900, on a GTX 1060 laptop then good for you. But as Ravemaster has shown the HP Omen has pretty much the same spec as the EVGA SC15 but is £500 cheaper. I am sure HP is making a profit on their laptop as well.
 
So Does it mean that the Aluminium body on the SC15 costs the extra £500?, I doubt it. I would be very surprised if this laptop outsells the HP Omen or other GTX 1060 laptops from MSI, ACER, or ASUS.
 
I hope EVGA does a quick refresh of the SC15, and sicks a GTX 1070 or GTX 1080 MaxQ in it for under £2000. I think many would consider buying that.

Yeah this one is literally spec for spec at £1400 

I am still in favor of the SC15.  The keyboard layout makes all the difference to me.

I have no doubt that the build quality on this would be top notch.  So add a few hundred for that.  Then another hundred or so for the brand recognition.  Now we are ball park.   Is it worth it????
