With the launch of coffee lake processors coming within the next month or two, z370 motherboard information has been leaking out from several manufacturers. Asrock and MSI have had lots of information leaked about upcoming z370 motherboards. So what do you want to see on evga's z370 motherboards?

Me personally:
Preinstalled color matching io cover (no silver io shield for a solid black motherboard)
eATX form factor - a must
a board without rgb, or atleast rgb that can be turned off via bios or software
Keep the gold capacitors and power/reset switched from the z270 classified k
atleast 2 m.2 slots on the front of the board
great audio processing chip

I believe every mobo that has RGB lights, you can disable that feature in the BIOS.

A motherboard that isn't boring and is similar to all the other mfgers as they've done a pretty good job adding lots of features likes, true PWM headers, RGBs on/off, better onboard audio, better LAN, etc.  What EVGA has over everyone else is their CS but they truly need to step up their game and allow the MB to become more modular in a sense that the MB RGBs can change colors to the theme of said customer's build and not be stuck with an EVGA design or better yet, being able to replace designs effects, like a snap on if you will.

Those were just some things that came to mind.

I just want the same thing as my Z270 Classified K but for Z370.  That would be amazing.  In any case has EVGA released any info if they are going to even supply Z370 boards?

I am so sick of this RGB crap. It adds nothing to the performance or stability of the board and drives the cost up, therefore I want Performance, Stability, Storage and NO NO NO RGB

Personally I would love to see:
    - mATX 100% this!.
    - Good quality NIC,  not the v "value" range.
    - RGB would be nice (as I am in the middle of building the desk/case mod and now waiting on coffee lake - but I can work around this ( hmm apparently I cant link soz. ) )
    - a decent sound chip (optional - can make do with realtek)
    - Inbuilt WiFi
    - 2x M.2 slots (1x minimum)

+ all the other bog standard parts

    I've seen this link:
    https://www.evga.com/articles/01151/evga-z370-series-motherboards/

I see here some things I do not like regarding the FTW model (some apply also to Classified model):
    - all M.2 SSDs are under the video card so you cannot mount any coolers on them and we all know Samsung 960 PRO gets quite hot sometimes -> here Gigabyte was smarter to put it above the first PCI-ex slot
    - if you want to remove the M.2 you need to remove the video card above
    - only 11 phase power design for the FTW (I am not interested in Classified because it has stuff I do not use, and even that one has 13 instead of 16 like my current Z97-DELUXE)
    - only 1 Ethernet instead of 2
Regarding RGB, it is perfect that you can disable it, like on video cards. Who the heck is looking inside a PC case when we have so many nice things to see in this world? Get real kidz.

It would be nice to have a Z370 FTW motherboard for my GTX 1070 FTW SLI with Power Link connectors but these 4 things are not making me happy.

More USB ports please. It hard to find any decent amount of USB ports compared to the x370 mobos at the moment.
