What ASUS is really selling here is better clock sustainability under load, lower noise, and zero idle-noise

You forgot about the lighting to make it look like a rave is happening in the computer case.

    Lol.
The card itself is not important.
    Only the RGB.
    RGB is the true thing.

Is that the 1080? 1080 Ti? No wait, that wouldn't happen to be a 980 ti, would it? A 580? Man forget it! Asus must have a surplus on this type of shroud.

Gamers should turn to GTX1080 and GTX1080Ti, RX Vega is for miners, maybe there have hidden advantage to GeForce.
I'm first who was ready to pay 550-600 euro for GTX1080Ti performance if AMD launch, maybe even to ignore 300W, or 50W more power consumption than GTX1080Ti...
But RX Vega 64 is fail for gaming from many side.
At the moment NVIDIA is in biggest advantage to AMD in history.
Because model launched Q1 2015 Maxwell TITAN X is competitive with RX Vega.
Is it possible to AMD need 2 years and 6 months to launch same performance for 300$ lower price but significantly bigger power consumption.
Simply customers shouldn't look any more benchmarks, to wait some miracle drivers, GTX1080 or GTX1080Ti are both better option than AMD.

I somewhat agree with you. Maybe they could add some features to differentiate between they type of VGA under the shroud but in all honesty, the ASUS ROG Strix design is very nice.

The best looking mainstream VGA's right now are the ASUS ROG Strix, MSI GAMING X and of course, the EVGA FTW3. The GALAX HOF stuff is also very pretty but I would never pay the price they are asking plus shipping and handling.

Looks like they used all the free space on the rear of the card for power and other items that get hot, leaving the GPU itself a bit more room to stay cool, very smart Asus.
