Looking to get a new mouse for gaming mainly. I stick to FPS games for the most part. I have used the R.A.T. 7 for years now and has been my favorite so far and I am currently using the Ouroboros from Razor. I like having weight in the mouse and a wide grip which is why I suffered through buying/replacing three of the R.A.T. 7's at $90 each before going to the Ouroboros. Any suggestions on what would fit the bill for a FPS mouse that has weight and is designed for a larger grip?

Cool GTX Take a look at EVGA TORQ X10 Carbon Gaming Mouse
I've used a lot of other brands of mice before and break them frequently, but I've been using the same EVGA TORQ X10 for 3 years now and no problems...that's a record for me as usually 1.5 years and the mouse is broken. That aside, this is a great mouse for FPS as it's very accurate and smooth. I'm hooked and won't look at anything else now. Give it a try, I think you'd like it a lot.

For a wireless gaming mouse, I would recommend the Logitech g403: It feels really nice, is ergonomic, has good response time and added weight plate

Im going to have too 2nd this. While a mouse will run you 100 bucks from them they will outlast most of whats out there and they feel great. They feel even better when you pair them with their G mouse pad. The entire Logitech eco system is nice too. One software app for all their gear. I also like that I can save my settings (key mapping) to the device and computer, just incase the computer blows up.

As others have said the EVGA X10 is worth the price Amazon has on it. Looks like you could get it for $33.95 which makes it pretty hard to pass up for a gaming grade mouse that is worth far more then that price. You might find a better mouse then it but it would be at a far higher price and really probably wouldn't help that much unless you game on a professional level.

EVGA mice are good as well as Corsair mice. I have my Corsair mouse linked for RGB colors to my Corsair RGB keyboard.

Being able to link RGB colors is a very cool feature since the keyboard and mouse are really what most people notice the most when using a computer. While I am more about functionality RGB has kind of grown on me as a way to really express myself even if I am using the same parts as millions of others.

benwoody I have heard many good reviews about Logitech.
Logitech would be good with the G502 as it's wired to save battery life and has the weight options that are needed. The problem though is a lot of the gaming mice made by Logitech now have gone wireless which gets into the battery issue and I can't recall any wireless options having the ability to add weight to them.

I've been using a Corsair M65 RGB mouse for over a year now and it performs well. I have the three weights in it because I like the feel and it ties in with my Corsair K95 RGB keyboard.

That is similar to what I use. I already have some arthritis in my joints and the Corsair feels good in the hand while clicking and tracking.

My G500s mouse is 4 years old, i can't see any wear marks on the top or side of it. I like the 3 buttons on the left side. I wish Logitech would add the same buttons to other gaming grade mice.
