Hello, curious if anybody here knows if the AM4 Bracket from Corsair is compatible with the first version of the Corsair H50 AIO unit?
There's two different versions of the H50.

this is the version I currently have and been using for almost a decade.. hard to believe that much time has passed already.

This is the newer version that's still sold to this day:

if anybody knows or can confirm that the mounting will be the same.. please let me know :)

Have you noticed a decline in cooling from that first gen H50? I quit using my old first gen H50 in Feb, when i built my new system. I purchased Corsair H100i V2 for it.

If you're using a RYZEN processor I'd go for a higher AIO version as mentioned by MSim. However if you want to use the H50 you need this bracket kit:

No increase in temps since I've owned it, besides when one of the fans quit working, figured the pump was going but it was just a case fan.
Kept my FX6300 at 4.5 for years now...

if I do purchase a new AIO what do you guys recommend? R5 1600 is the CPU I'm going to be using.

I would go with 280mm liquid cooler if it will fit inside your case without any issues.
    Corsair H115i (280mm)
    EVGA CLC (280mm)
NZXT Kraken X62 RL-KRX62-02 280mm (Best RGB out of the 3 units)

EVGA was suppose to come without quick disconnect liquid coolers but i haven't heard any ETA on them yet.

So im finally going to get around to this..

budget of $300 to spend on my AIO/Heatsink.. or a custom loop
Ive never done a custom loop, and i was looking at ekwbs liquid 360mm kit, if not that then EVGAs 280mm CLC.

Is the pump included in ekwbs liquid360 sufficient enough? How annoying is it going to be for air bubbles having black tubing? Do they normally come out of the loop over time? How long should i "leak-test" the loop for?.. if i did go the ekwb kit route..

I think it would be best to ask this question in a separate forum query.
