I've noticed everytime I update the EVGA Precision XOC software, my fonts in Google Hangout change to a bold lettering. In order to remedy this, I need to delete the Robo font shortcut in my fonts folder so Google Hangouts looks normal again. Not sure what interaction is occuring here but this is a PITA to find the fix for. I have fixed this a few times consistently but this seems to be something requiring attention by EVGA's devs.
Please advise.

Welcome to the Forum hlainIt could also be on the Google side as well so you should also open a Call with them. What is your OS? What Web Browsers are having this Issue? Have you Tested Them All Out to which Web Browsers are seeing the Problem? IE 11 EDGE Firefox Chrome And So On.

Windows 10 using Chrome. EVGA devs should check it out really as part of their QC.

This has been reported before. At one point in time it was fixed. Now it looks like it's back again. Hopefully a future release will fix it again.

My Meaning is the Issue is not Only with "Google Hangout" but With Chrome and PXOC was all.

Simple fix for this issue... Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\EVGA\Precision XOC\data and rename Roboto-Bold to Roboto-Bol. Font issue should now be fixed.

I've been wondering for months what caused that, but at least with 6.1.16, there is no font with that name in that location on my install and my Hangouts font is fine now.

This used to be a problem before on YouTube for me some versions ago, like 6.1.4/6.1.6 as far as I remember.
Though I no longer have that problem on YouTube with Chrome (x64 v61) and Windows 7.
For me it was solved going to windows configuration panel -> lettertypes and then delete 'Roboto Bold' and restart the browser.
I don't have hangouts so I can't check it, I do have Roboto Bold again in my lettertypes though.
