yeah i figured it out by myself i just to use the speaker icon on the lower right corner and open it. under the tap playback divices your speakers should show up and say realtek you can use that like the control panel . but i am so use to a separate control panel for my speakers.
right click the speaker icon . then you right click the speakers and go to properties. then change those however you like.

The Reaktek HD Audio Control Panel doesn't have an icon in the Windows Control Panel?

I'm on a MacBook Pro right now and haven't used Realtek onboard audio on my Windows home PC for a while, but as I remember, it should be there along with the option to show the in-tray Realtek icon providing you have the onboard HD audio enabled in the BIOS.

That's about all I can tell you right now.

The default Windows Realtek driver doesn't come with the control panel. If you want the Realtek control panel you will need to download the latest driver from your motherboard manufacturer or directly from Realtek.

Kougar, there should also be a large download on realtek website that includes the latest drivers.  Or that was the way it was 1.5 years ago.   Perhaps you meant that rather than MOBO mfg.

Windows 10 drivers gives you minimum functionality which is why you also shouldn't use Microsoft based NVIDIA graphics drivers as well.

Sometimes it is hard to stop Windows from doing what they think is better for you and your computer.

Did you download Both the Software and the Driver from Realtek?
I have to wait to retest in a week or so and see what shows on mine.

Indeed, I'm looking at the Realtek site, all the HD audio drivers are just barebone drivers without the control app. Motherboard manufacturers roll their own control app so it's best to get audio drivers from the motherboard maker first.

I downloaded R2.82 but haven't updated from R2.81 because of all of the related hassle with updating Realtek drivers. Thanks for saving me the headache of trying these R2.82 drivers.
