Yesterday, after seven years of flawless performance, my E762 burnt out. I was running X5670 in it. Luckily, I was able to find E760 Rev. 1.1 on ebay so I will be able to keep using Westmere EP, but I am still sad. Wanted to thank EVGA for making great products that let me express myself and experience games to their fullest potential.
Here is a little something I wrote for the occasion

EVGA X58 Classified 4-way SLI E762
RIP 2010 - 2017
You radiated performance the moment I took you out of the box.
Old case could not contain you, so I found you a better home.
Overclocked since day one, you never gave up; you adjusted to all the changes I threw at you.
We fought benchmarks and temperatures. Through all of it you were silent, but I felt you whisper “We can do it buddy. Give me a chance.”
You inspired Bloomfield and Westmere EP to go beyond their normal capabilities.
Sometimes it was hard for you but I wanted more so I pushed you somewhere I should not have. I am sorry.
You stayed with me after many things went away: GTX 275, GTX 465 SLI, GTX 580 SLI, GTX 670 SLI, Corsair 750W, Corsair Dominator GT 6GB, and Corsair H70.
New motherboards and CPUs came out. I stuck with you.
Becoming older and older, you never let up. Underdog that took on new tech.
All things and people eventually cease to exist. I was a fool to think you will be by my side forever.
We had a lot of good times that I will remember as long as my memory sectors don’t get corrupted.
Your struggle is over. You won.
Rest in peace buddy.
