This new software freezes my computer completely on startup, mouse wont move, ctrl-alt-delete do not do anything, waited an hour and nothing. Unfortunately the software is setup to run on startup so it freezes the computer as soon as I login. I went into safe mode but there is no way to uninstall software in windows 10 in safe mode. I check all the startup location but it is not there for xoc. so the question is where is the hidden registry flag location where xoc is set to startup on login? I attempted to created a new user in safe mode but that also does not work in windows 10.

How do I uninstall a program from Windows 10

    EXCERPT from link above:

Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

We understand that you are unable to uninstall a program in Windows 10.
I request you to try uninstalling the program from safe mode.

Follow the steps below to go to safe mode:
To enter Safe Mode in Windows 10:
           Restart your PC.
Press Shift + F8 before the Windows logo appears.
           Click See Advanced Repair Options.
           Click Troubleshoot.
           Click Advanced Options.
           Click Windows Startup Settings.
           Click Restart.
You then see a list where you can choose Safe Mode or Safe Mode with Networking (depending on whether you think you’ll need the Internet).

Delete the program by following the steps below:
    1. Press "Windows" + "R". Type "appwiz.cpl" and press Enter.
    2. Select the program and click on Uninstall and follow the instruction on the screen.

The issue is of course the XOC software is not in the advance windows startup settings, it is not listed there. The software automatically runs when i logged in but it is also not in the startup menu folder. Anyway I fixed the problem by going into the program feature and removed the software ASAP when i logged in, as it stills takes about 30 seconds before the XOC auto start and locked up the computer. It eventually locked up the computer during uninstall reboot but by that time the software is already not part of the startup application so a forced reboot shows the application no longer there.

My win 10 x64 PC was experiencing the same thing, costed me 2 hours to figure out what happened, it's really annoying and frustrating 2 hours for me. It turns out my PC will hang every time i click on any profile. Reverted backed to 6.1.10, everything is normal now. I had to open Task Scheduler and disable evga precision xoc within 30 sec! What a disappointment, don't EVGA guys even test it before releasing it?

Precision adds an entry to the windows task scheduler for starting it up on each login to Windows.

Also are you guys running insider builds of Windows 10 or regular?

Just regular windows 10 auto upgraded from windows 7. If it is suppose to be there well it is not on my computer, and it turns out all sort of auto startup that suppose to be there is not for some computer. use the software at hxxx //docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/autoruns to actually see all kind of auto startup program that is not listed there.

    This^^^.

If you don't want to mess with the Task Scheduler in Safe Mode, tank the EVGA Precision Folder in Program Files(x86) while in Safe Mode, and you'll be able to log in again; to roll the dice with another XOC release, or to venture elsewhere. Note, this ByTargetSite uninstall method will not do any traditional cleanup, so in the event you decide to abandon XOC, reinstall a version that does not incapacitate your system, and uninstall it via the uninstaller or Programs and Features.

If you are unable to manually, you should try any third party software to uninstall. I would like to suggest you Ccleaner.
Install Ccleaner and this app will make you able uninstall program with single click.

Being well over a year now and being an older version of PXOC you would think that this issue is closed.
    Current Version 6.2.7 Release: 5/8/2018

    Associate Code: 9E88QK5L7811G3H
