I just picked up the 04G-P4-2673-KR off of eBay.  Because it is "Superclocked" does that mean that it will definitely require additional cooling in addition to the stock fan?  I have no intention of investing in further cooling if I don't have to.

    Welcome to the Forums

No stock fan will work well, you may want to use OC software and set a custom fan curve if you want to keep it cooler - If needed

Welcome to the forums..As stated above, no additional hardware for GPU cooling is normally needed..However, by using the EVGA Precision (which also comes on the driver and software installation CD for your card, if you got one) or MSI Afterburner software, you can create a custom fan speed curve or use the predefined aggressive fan speed curve for better cooling..If you want to use EVGA Precision, you may find that the legacy version 4.2.1 (with RivaTuner Statistics Server for on-screen display) might be better for you using the older GTX 670..If you want 4.2.1, I have it here on my OneDrive page for download.

Nice of you to share your OneDrive bob, and great advice on what version may work best with older hardware

No problemo..But the "EVGA Precision X 4.2.1 Download" at Guru3D is borked (and has been), both the Primary and Secondary Download URLs redirect to download MSI Afterburner instead for some reason, so I stopped linking to them.
