I have seen a few reports on here of Precision XOC 6.1.12 for FTW3 owners. My apologies to anyone experiencing this issue.

I have reported this to the appropriate team for further attention. In the meantime, the previous version 6.1.11 is not experiencing this so I do recommend rolling back if you have an FTW3.

If you have a moment, please rate my service. We appreciate the feedback!

You mean the version with the broken memory fan control and OSD?

6.1.6 is the last version that has actually worked for me. That's the one I recommend at the moment.

Installed 6.1.12 and it crashes right after launch. Actually it never launches, I do see it in the bottom right (in the taskbar) as if it launched minimized but once I click on it the icon disappears..

No i don't think OSD is broken in 6.1.11  , its working fine for me in game which it supports , i only noticed that PUBG AND RAINBOW SIX SIEGE game don't show OSD , all other i tested do show as it meant to be for me [ BF1 , MAFIA 3 , PARAGON ]  . Memory slider bug yes but you need to do click on that " M " once when you start your PC then until PC completely shut down it works , actually fan is doing its work only thing happening that result not being displayed to that slider .

Useless software.. you release a software which does not work well with recent high end GPU. That is completely fine, i assumed other software like afterburner will work with it, but looks like the asynchronous fan does not want to show up in afterburner.
EVGA either release a good software or make GPU's which can work with other softwares.

Guess software is not your forte and please release a patch so that the fans get detected in other softwares.

I have the same issue as everyone else here. Got my new 1080 Ti FTW3 and Precision XOC crashes shortly after startup with 6.1.12. Installed 6.1.11 and it runs fine. Can you please notify us here when it's fixed and live on the download page?

Guess software is not your forte and please release a patch so that the fans get detected in other softwares.

The problem is that the iCX videocards use multiple fan headers, other GPU software is designed to only be able to detect and control one fan header.
This is a problem other software developers will have to fix, I think afterburner already supports reading out some sensors.

EVGA here is just a little bit ahead of the competition with their technology and cooling implementation, but being an early-adopter you'll have to accept the chance of having some early issues.
For me the rest of Precision XOC runs quite well and I don't really have big issues with it.

Sure the OSD side isn't that solid, but OSD software has always been tricky to do well and even then they can cause a lot of conflicts and other problems such as lower performance or crashing applications.
I wouldn't burn down XOC based on OSD issues.

But yes maybe some extra testing wouldn't have hurt, I mean this crash issue was pretty obvious and should be easy to find out.

The dev of Afterburner said that he will never had the option for multiple custom fan curve. Agreed with your comment. +1

Precision XOC 6.1.13 is running good so far with my 1080Ti FTW3 on Windows 7!
No firmware update was offered like as with 6.1.12, though this may be normal, a GPU may not need updates every time.

He might not do it specifically for the iCX cards, though nobody knows what other manufacturers are going to do now seeing EVGA's new technology.
I'm sure they want to catch-up and release similar things in the future for greater control.

Then Afterburner will be required to work with that too, however I'm not so sure about how hard such thing is to implement and if it will work similar to what EVGA does.

The more you support the better it is for the end-user.

Edit:
The behaviour of the backplate LED as described here is still relevant in Precision XOC 6.1.13:
https://forums.evga.com/FindPost/2698453
I'm not sure if this is expected to work like this.

Am I the only one still dealing with crashes running 6.1.13?

About to try a clean uninstall..

Edit: Issue seems to be caused by configuring a custom VF curve. Anyone care to test?
