Recently my 970 has been giving me issues. Around 30-45 of each gaming session my monitors go black and say "No input found". It takes a full reboot of the computer to fix this issue and I cant understand why this is happening. I have been monitoring the temps and fan speeds, but nothing seems wrong. I've owned my GTX 970 for 2 years now and this is the first time I have ever had a problem. Any help would be appreciated!

Are the fans on the card spinning up to 100% when your monitor goes black? If no, does the issue occur when using different outputs (hdmi, dvi, vga, dp)?

Hello. I have exactly same issues in some games like "Heroes of the Storm" (Hots) or "Witcher 3". I fixed issue with Hots by running this game with direct 9 and issue with Witcher 3 by underclocking my card by 130 Mhz. Both are terrible solutions but it works. Now I want to try update my motherboard bios and run factory defaults. After that I maybe try update my gpu firmware. Is there some gpu bios for download?

Today I will look if my fans still spinning after crush and let you know.

    Thanks for tips.

I also read on other forums that problem could be caused by PSU. Is it possible? Doom 3, Fallout 4 and other games works without problems but Witcher 3 crush after 5 minutes.

I had that fan spin up when my card died, though it didn't output video at all

Ok I am sorry I can create my own thread. But I do not have similar issue. I have EXACTLY SAME ISSUE as OP (so there will be so many threads here that will be impossible to find something). I also offered him some thinks he can do (you did not). If this is agains rules why I have rights to post here?

    Best regards
