How does FTW Z270 compare to Gigabyte's Z270Designare?

As the title says.
 
I'm looking to get the Designare but, since I'm going with an EVGA card I think I might benefit from having an EVGA motherboard for the added benefits of being from the same manufacturer.

    The designare allows for ram speeds up to 2400 without oc while the ftw k goes only up to 2133 normally.
     
    The FTW K has the advantage of being EVGA, as my video card will be, so thats nice.
     
    Anyway they both have m.2 support, and more than enough SATA connectins for my purposes.
     
    They both look good too, but the designare better matches the rest of my build as my case is white.

    Not really my liking, do not care for RGB. GA-Z270X-DESIGNARE (rev. 1.0) | Motherboard - GIGABYTE

    Seems like a well off motherboard, not a fan of any Gigabytes Products though.

    By the way, why aren't you a fan of Gigabyte? Do they have quality issues or something similar?

    Im just a huge fan of the silver colour on the board, not so many other boards have that

    Dang it's too bad about their support. EVGAs support seems godlike.

    That being said, I think I'm gonna stick with designare, hopefully nothing will go wrong!

    I kinda feel like a traitor saying that on the EVGA forums lol

    personally i dont think you can wrong with either. i have owned both brands and both were solid, cant speak to support on either since ive never had any issues that could be fixed on my end, i will say gigabyte does offer a better software suite for their boards and they do have more bling, other than there both good in my book.
