 Hi all,

I am sorry if this has been posted.  All I was able to find was the same issue with XOC.  I have set a custom fan curve in Flow Control.  After applying the curve, and verifying it was in fact set, I run Prime95.  With my CPU under full load, my temps vary from 63c-66c.  My main concern is that the fan speeds aren't increasing with the rising temps.  As an example, I set the fan curve to 100% when the CPU hits 55c. As you can see from the attached picture, at 66c, the fan speeds are just under 50%.  This seems to be a serious issue.  EVGA support cannot give me a fix, after a number of emails.  Has anyone else experienced this? I appreciate any help!

Edit : There is also the issue of Flow Control not automatically loading my profile.  It always loads into default upon boot, and I am forced to select the profile.

Edit : Attempted to roll back to version 2.0.0.3.  Not successful

This must be isolated to just the Flow Control software, everything is working fine with fan curve settings on Precision XOC 6.1.13 using a 1080 Ti FTW3. This is definitely a serious issue that needs a quick fix EVGA!

The only thing I've read is when the hwmonitor (for GPU's) isn't monitoring the temperatures the fan curves won't kick in, but I think this is not the same issue here.

After talking to EVGA tech support (these guys are awesome), I was advised that the fan curve is based on your coolant temps. I experimented with my cpu under load and confirmed this. You can adjust the fan curve by clicking and dragging the nodes on the graph in flow control. The software is functioning as designed. If you are having problems with cpu heat, I would suggest reapplying a better thermal paste and lowering your cpu voltage a bit. I found that lowering my cpu voltage by .010 volts on my 5.1 ghz overclock lowered my temps from 80c to 74c.

I got updated precision x and  my 970 card suddenly stopped working  had to put in for a RMA but i Noticed  that my card randomly started also running super hot  when it never had like when playing my game even on low graphics my card ran up to 60C before update the auto fan  had kept my card between 30 to 40C on medium to high quality. no idea what is going on even changing fan speed  to higher  it does nothing like suddenly my card stopped handling even the lowest  graphic  intensive games. and a 970 card with 4gbs of ram should be able to handle anything it has thrown at it . I not sure what is going on. I can't seem to  do anything to keep  things under control  temp wise..

Flow control is specifically designed for EVGAs Closed loop CPU liquid coolers. You can uninstall precision x, delete the folder in program files x86 and reinstall the older version. You can find it on evga's website. Maybe that will help. Also make sure that your fan speed settings are set correctly in your bios and your bios is up to date.

    Hope this helps

that is exactly where I got mine  and still I have  issues with my graphics running hotter than they ever did. In fact my  970 GTx simply stopped working  too like before update I could play skyrim  gpuc staying betweein 33 to 40C  then update and wham it shot up to 60 C for even the simplest games like diablo III and moving the bars for my gpu's fan doesn't seem to work after  a week of this maybe 2 wham my card stopped working . I had to borrow my roommate's 750Ti it is a nightmare  I requested a RMA thankfully customer support rocks . still  I don't get why this is happening i mean I got 5  decent size pc fans going in my pc..wouldn't   opening the card to replace thermal paste ruin chances of a warrenty or rma? I am asking because I always thought it would
