I'm having some trouble with this software I just did a fresh install of Windows 10 Pro 64bit nothing installed except newest NVidia drivers and Evga flow control 2.03. Upon launching the application CPU Temp is blank not reading anything at all, and under settings and LED Color when I select Temp Color and click ok the application gives me a error that it stopped working and closes and doesn't save the change, I have tried using windows compatibility mode for 8,7,XP but it still does the same thing just crashes and closes any ideas for these two issues? I'm not using any other apps to monitor temps that's why I did a clean install of windows because I was having the same issue before and thought it might have been conflicting with something else installed. I'm using a AMD 9590 and a Asus Crosshair Formula V-Z.

Thanks!

They (AMD CPUs) have for the most part two Sensors for the CPU one listed as CPU and one Listed as CPU Diode.
All the current Software to view the CPU Temperatures for the most part have this same issue.
Aida64 Extreme is the only to date software that can read both the as CPU and CPU Diode Sensors.
The CPU Sensor is the one shown on most Motherboards and the CPU Diode Sensor is the Off Set for a lack of AMD telling us the hole story.
I have been working this issue for about 4 months now, even MSI is have issues with this on their motherboards.
The only AMD CPU that I can read each Core Temperature is the Opteron Processors but also have other issues reading them with most Software on the market.

You could remove the software delete the Folders and any registry entrees restart and installed a clean version.
Install Aida64 Extreme and see if it can read your Temperatures, the current version has been updated for the newer AMD CPUs as well.
    Is your  current?

I installed aida64 and also tested hwinfo64 both of them displayed the cpu temp and I setup hwinfo to display the cpu temp in the taskbar. Is the reason that the app crashes when I select either LED Temp or Temp Color is because the app can't read the cpu temp? Was really wanting to input my own max temp setting w/ the color. And yes I need to update my mods rigs its been awhile.

Are you running hwinfo64 at the same time you are running EVGA Flow Control?
For me it would cause a BSOD on hwinfo64, but then I have never liked hwinfo64.
So a clean up of the Flow Control Software and a fresh install did not help?

I did a completely fresh install of Win10 Pro 64 with only flow control 64bit installed nothing else and it did the same thing.

Could be a Combo of AMD 9590 and a Asus Crosshair Formula V-Z.
Are you running the Current AMD Chipset Drivers? Link
Crosshair V Formula-Z BIOS 2201 Link *2015/05/07 is a long time for not having a new Bios.
Could be time also to update your Motherboard and CPU + Memory.
Have you used an older version and it showed the CPU Temp or did it not show it.

Another trick you can do us unplug the USB cable from the Cooler count to 5 and then plug it back in.

Another trick is to plug the USB cable into another computer motherboard USB 2.0 Header to see if is working on that computer.
At lest this will rule out whether it is your motherboard or the CPU Closed Loop Cooler itself. This test for me showed it was my AMD MB.

The LED crashing issue sounds unrelated to anything AMD. It's a known EVGA issue. Precision XOC for their GPU does the same thing if you accidently click an RGB option that your card is incapable of displaying. For example, in Precision XOC, the LED software does not recognize the card you have installed and just displays an image of a 1080 Ti FTW3. As such it gives you options for both the "EVGA LOGO LED" and the "BACKPLATE LOGO LED", the problem with that is my 1080 FTW2 doesn't have a "BACKPLATE LOGO LED". But if I accidentally or mistakenly click the drop down menu for that option, Precision XOC will crash. One time it made my entire system crash.

So when I see you reporting that Flowcontrol is crashing when you try to set the LED colors, that makes me think Flowcontrol is not recognizing that your CLC has LED installed. It does, because all the CLC version are the same, but your unit seems faulty and it's not recognizing that there are LEDs there for it to control. As such, much like the Backplate LEDs for me in Precision, your EVGA software is crashing when you try to select an option that the software does not recognize you have the ability to control.

This Thread is really about the reading of the AMD CPU Temperature and because it cannot see or read the CPU Temperature you cannot set the LED Colors for the CPU, but thank you for that info.
Tested with the Second Another trick in the above post.
The OP could have killed the Sensor on his MB for the CPU as I have done on my MSI AMD X370 XPOWER GAMING TITANIUM Motherboard.

It's still on topic, so don't act like you're a mod and try to tell me I shouldn't post relevant info. The software crashing when selecting the LEDs is due to the terrible coding of EVGA software. The exact same behavior can be seen with Precision.

    @ MajestacaL
Did the Following Driver *CCVI Get installed ok?

Testing mine out of box not mounted to any CPU and temp shows OK.
Re-Check your Connector to the USB 2.0 Header that it is connected all the way.

To note my EVGA MB's show RGB but not my ASUS MB but all around the Temps show and I can edit the LED Colors with Zero Problems.
The ASUS MB it is running Windows 7 x86/32Bit all others are running Windows 10 x64

Re-Tested on my MSI X370 RYZEN 7 1800X Rig. No CPU Temp and No Edit LED Colors, Crashes as stated in the First Post by the OP.

Also I am Old School so when I install EVGA Flow Control 2.03 or ANY USB Based Device the USB Cable is NOT Plugged in to the Device.
I restart the rig after the Install is complete and then after the system is done loading I then Plug in the USB Cable.
Some software will prompt you to plug in the USB Cable as most Printer do this.

Now Testing Corsair Link on the AMD Rig.
    Here are my findings;
Corsair Link reads the CPU *Package and not the offset and or the CPU Diode Sensor. So it is reading the wrong temp sensor for the RYZEN 7 CPU Line.
The Correct Temperature to use Per AMD is the CPU Diode Sensor at lest on the RYZEN 7 CPU Line.
So this may be why EVGA Flow Control software is not working with Some or All AMD CPU's.
That is EVGA Flow Control is looking for the CPU Diode Sensor and it cannot see as with Corsair Link also not being able to see it.

Maybe EVGA can review this Post and change the Sensor to read the CPU *Package if this is the case.
Or maybe EVGA will need to have two different Downloads One for Intel and one for AMD.
To Note also EVGA has to send users Custom Firmware for AMD MB users as noted with the 1080 Bios and Thermal Issues back when.

So Ending with AMD Based Motherboards and EVGA Flow Control Software may be the main issue here or at least with this Thread.
Remember to that most Intel CPU's have a CPU Sensor / CPU Package Sensor / and one Sensor for each CORE (Not Thread)

Yes the CCVI driver is showing under my device manager and working properly. I have tried using a different usb header but got the same results, the ambient color option is working just fine I can change it to any color, its just the temp color when I try to change crashes the app which appears to be with issue 1 of not reading the cpu temp I believe. I installed hwinfo64 and amd overdrive they both seem to be reading the temps, so I just setup hwinfo to display the temp in my taskbar.

AMD Overdrive is for the most part made for your CPU/MB so it would not work well or at all on an Intel CPU/MB.
All my AMD tools show only the CPU Diode Team on the RYZEN 7 but it think because of the -20C offset from the CPU Package.
I have found it hard to find good software for an AMD CPU -v- Intel CPU To date only Aida64 Extreme shows both of mine.
I have never has issues with Intel Tools, I will install hwinfo64 and post what it shows.

Not running a AMD processor myself, but I experienced a similar issue of no CPU temps, check your task manger for a program called CLC server, is it running, mine was not, activated the second program and restarted the flow control software, and my CPU temps returned
