It should be plenty. The video board draws 250 watts. I'm not totally familiar with the CPU or motherboard power requirements but they shouldn't be that high. I am running two GTX-980 ti Classified boards in a Z97 / i5-4690k setup using a Swiftech H220 AIO with a 1000 watt G2 PSU. There are countless PSU calculator utilities out there and no two will give you the exact same answer. It is best to find the requirements of each component, add them together, then add at least 10 to 15% for a safety margin. All power supplies are most efficient at 50% load.

I think you should be fine with that 750W G2 powering your system.

    Thanks.

I tried multiple PSU calcualtors out there and most of them said my total system draw was around 600 to 700 watts depending on which calculator I was using and recommended anywhere from a 650 to a 750 watt psu.  Seeing as those were telling me I was right on the edge I figured I would seek more advice.

I always recommend using the OuterVision Power Supply Calculator which is also linked to by JonnyGURU (regarded by many as #1 in who's who of PSU testing and reviews)..You'll get a 'recommended minimum' PSU (hover mouse pointer over the results for explanation) and a recommended PSU of higher wattage..There's the EVGA Power Meter too..You'll get a 10% off discount code (with conditions) in your email towards the purchase of any new EVGA PSU just for using the Power Meter.

Some other PSU manufacturers/vendors that link to, or use, the OuterVision Power Supply Calculator engine on their websites are Antec, Cooler Master, Enermax and Thermaltake.

Is your currently installed 750 G2 'good enough'?..Most likely, yes..Everything works okay, right?..A single +12V rail which the 750 G2 has is what we like, or should.

Would a 750 G2 be a 'recommended' PSU if you were going to buy a new one?..Probably not.

Recommended minimum units may actually use more power than a higher wattage unit (poor efficiency), run hotter and consequently produce more fan noise..See the Power Supply FAQs at JonnyGURU (Is there such a thing as "too much power"?)..Getting an 'oversized' (wattage-wise) PSU than one that is the minimum recommended is a good move.

You should be ok. The CPU doesn't really have that much of a draw or at least like it used to.

Well I got a little bit worried, I ordered an EVGA Supernova 850 watt G3 (would have got the 1000 watt but it was out of stock).  Will have an extra 100 watts left in the tank.  It was only $100 bucks and the 750 watt G2 can be a backup for something.

I've had the 750 B2 running a 300w card before. It held up perfectly. That said, your psu is a little more efficient and will get the job done plus leave you some room for overclocking. For the 1080 ti, 650w is the recommended amount. You have more than enough
