So G-Skill has introduced a new higher spec memory for the X299 platform using Samsung's best ICs. I would assume this will allow the best memory overclocking possible.

    DDR4 4400, and I'm still stuck with DDR3 1600.
    Pretty fast RAM.
    As for the price, assuming a 16Gb set TridentZ RGB 4266 is around 250USD, I think is safe to expect these will coming for 270USD+.
