EVGA PrecisionX XOC LOGO LED - "LED Visualizer"

I'm have a GTX1080Ti SC2 card on my PC (NVidia driver version 382.33).  Even with the latest version of PrecisionX XOC v6.18
 
Under OSD Settings\Appearance LED\EVGA Logo LED...
 
The  "LED Visualizer" setting does the same thing as "Static ON".  How can I activate it?  I don't have Geforce Experience installed. 
 
Also, I noticed the Backplate Logo LED dropdown menu is disabled.  Is it supposed to be like that for the GTX 1080TI SC2?

    Is there a better place I can ask my question about the LED visualizer in PrecisionX XOC?  Certainly, someone has to know.

    As far as I'm aware this is simply a setting to let Geforce Experience control the LED's, I don't think you'll get any other use out of it without Geforce Experience, so you'll have to use the other available options.
