Just wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction. I'm planning a build using 2 1080 ti's with a z170 FTW motherboard. I'm going to custom water-cool the whole deal.
Basically, which PCIE slots would be best to use to get the most out of the cards? I'd be guessing the 16x and the 8x but that leaves no room between them and I've not been able to locate an SLI bridge to accomodate a "0 slot" spacing.

If I've missed something, please let me know.

Thanks for reading and replying if you do :)

    Welcome to the forums.

Yes, PCIe x16 slots 1 and 2 on the Z170 FTW board..In SLI they will both run at x8..See the PCI-E Lane Distribution in the manual.

The mobo comes with a flexible 2-way SLI bridge..You can also buy a 2-Way Short EVGA Pro SLI Bridge or a 0 Slot Spacing EVGA PRO SLI Bridge HB (High Bandwidth)..The distance between slots 1 and 2 is 40mm.
