Hi,

I've got my 1080ti FTW3 for 2 weeks now, and I have serious issues with precision XOC.

When I launch Precision, it shows me the actual temperature of the GPU, Memory and Power, but then only the GPU temperature changes.
So when I launch a game, only the GPU fan ramps up, as the temperature of the memory and the vrms never change.
If I close Precision and open it again, it shows me updated temperatures (but then stuck again for mem and vrms) so for example, if I do that during load, the fans will kick in as the temps are updated for the mem and the vrms, but if I return to idle, only the GPU fan will slow because of the mem/vrms temps being stuck at a high value.
If I let the card handle the fan curves by itself, no pb, so the problem seems to come from Precision.

What I've already try :
Uninstall / reinstall Precision XOC / Nvidia Drivers.
Flash the card firmware with the tool provided in the FAQ. (Precision never offered me to update the card firmware)
I followed all the advices in the different threads about the temps not showing for Mem/Vrms
Clean install of Windows with all the latest drivers / motherboard bios / updated software etc...

I'm a little short on ideas right now, any advice would be gratly appreciated !

    No pb !

Don't hesitate to ask if I can be of any help, like extracting some logs somehow or whatever.

I ran into similar issues switching between graphics cards (a 1080Ti FTW3 and 1080 FTW2). The temperature readings will read that of another graphics card even though I already switched the GPU on the top right corner. Pressing the sensor button on the bottom left however, will show the temperatures of the card I am currently selecting.

OK, I guess I found the problem.
Each time I Installed Precision XOC, one of the first things I've done was disabling some diagrams in the hardware monitor, to have a cleaner view.
It seems that the temps shown on the main windows (and use for the fan curves) are directly linked to the diagrams in the hardware monitor.
Long story short : No diagram for memory temps readings in HW monitor = No memory temps readings in the main window = no fan curve management.

It's not all that logical to me, but I can live with it easily.

    Sorry for the false alarm.

Interesting. Hopefully evga can fix that in the next version.

Was having the same problem, putting the memory and power temp readings back on the hw monitor worked for me. Thank you for finding the solution, this was giving me a headache.

This actually helped me a lot. And I have the latest version already. I hope people notice this. Until now I still have this problem. I have a 1080 Ti FTW3

It is a serious alarm, this "logic" bug can cause serious damage to the card if you have an automatic process running (at startup of the system or occasionnally) and you are not there to verify the temperatures (for hours).

I need to know how to push this issue to the devs ?

Be careful about this one guys.

    Thank you,
I think it was the same issue there: forums.evga.com/GPU-Temp-Stuck-at-24C-Using-latest-Version-of-Precision-XOC-m2769626.aspx
