I just got the 1080ti FTW3, and when I'm using Precision XOC, I experience significant input delay with my keyboard, to the point that it makes games pretty unplayable.  This is with/without any sort of overlays.  I tried to use Afterburner instead, but it seems that Afterburner will only control a single fan.  I tried to use neither, but my fans wouldn't ramp up and my card started to overheat.

What's the deal with XOC, and what are my other options if I can't use Afterburner?

    More system information (harware and OS) might help..You could pause Hardware Monitoring in PXOC (will freeze/stop only OSD readings) and see if it matters..Having Corsair Link, ASUS AI Suite or other monitoring software running at the same time as Precision has been known to cause input lag..Turn off Share in the GeForce Experience General Settings if you have it.

    You could try another/earlier version (6.1.4) of PXOC and see if it matters..You could manually set fixed fan speeds, then close PXOC and the fixed fan speeds should remain..You could manually set fixed fan speeds in PXOC, then close PXOC and use Afterburner w/o automatic fan control and RTSS for your OSD.

    Just a few things/workarounds off the top of my head for right now to try.

    * Corsair Obsidian 450D Mid-Tower - Airflow Edition * ASUS ROG Maximus X Hero (Wi-Fi AC) * Intel i7-8700K @ 5.0 GHz * 16GB G.SKILL Trident Z 4133MHz * Sabrent Rocket 1TB M.2 SSD * WD Black 500 GB HDD * Seasonic M12 II 750W * Corsair H115i Elite Capellix 280mm * EVGA GTX 760 SC * Win7 Home/Win10 Home *

    Sorry for the lack of details, it was late and I was a little frustrated.

    My system specs:

    GTX 1080ti FTW3
    6700K
    32GB ram
    Windows Home 64

    I tried closing every non-essential program so that there were no conflicts which didn't fix it.  I tried installing 6.1.4 which didn't fix it.  Then, I went into the OSD settings and manually disabled all of the hardware monitoring, which seems to have fixed the problem.  Apparently I can re-enable the monitoring, just so long as I have the hardware monitor window closed, and the problem goes away.

    It's hard for me to believe that an issue like having the hardware monitor open would cause significant input lag, as this is one of the main draws of having monitoring software.  Is this an issue for everyone?  And why hasn't something like this been addressed yet?  I'd like to use Afterburner so that I can monitor my system while I'm playing, but apparently that can't work with iCX.

    Precision osd has been reported to cause the issue you're experiencing. You can monitor icx temps with the msi afterburner 4.4.0 beta 10 which can be downloaded here. Running the FTW3 on the slave vbios should keep the card nice and cool without having to run any software.

    Yes, Hardware Monitor causing input lag has been an issue for some people and is nothing new, hence the first thing on my 'list of things to try'..At least you know exactly what the problem was now.
