Looking forward to this one more then the future warfare stuff they have been doing though really mostly for the single player.  I really used to like the multiplayer in COD but not so much in the recent games. I personally feel we have better multiplayer shooters then what COD provides and I think that is partly because of the rapid pace COD games come out.

Activision is doing the same thing EA did when they decide to play SJW revisionist history.

I don't understand the lock to either WW2 or modern/future warfare. There have been plenty of conflicts to make epic games in different areas from.

I truly would love to see a full AAA title on the Vietnam war. I mean the Vietnam add on for bad company 2 was pretty good but had that obvious rushed lack of care dlc feel.

How about the Korean war, or even (I know it would be difficult with our gun affinity) the US civil war.

I haven't played it but I'm genuinely proud of dice for making a full on WW1 game.

Last time I played CoD, Bush was in the oval office.

It's impossible to not offend someone these days. Just look, they offended you by trying to not be offensive and who would ever find a FPS offensive anyway

No it's not possible in reality, massive contradiction.  Nazi's were the ultimate racists, blonde hair blue eyes you know.  But what I said about CoD: WWII is confirmed.  Definitely the biggest unintended joke of a game at least.
 
Day of Infamy was in Early Access last year, completed this year.  It is CQB infantry only, not totally unlike a CoD game in that regard.  But doesn't make a mockery of WWII (not that CoD: WWII is intended mockery like Inglorious Basterds) and has more map variety, having maps not only in France but also Italy and Germany (much better designed than recent CoD maps too).  Far more content and no overpriced DLC, near endless moddability (custom maps, units, mechanics, and even total conversions that make it akin to multiple games in one, check its Steam Workshop), dedicated servers (modded servers can be filtered out).  Various PvP and Co-op game modes, thus so much more gameplay variety.  More class variety featuring things like flamethrowers, team commanders who work in tandem with radio operators to call for air support, and realistic support weapons.  Its shooting mechanics are well above any military themed AAA shooter by quite a big margin, featuring mechanics such as bi-pod deployment, better weapon and loadout customization, actual ballistic physics, aiming deadzone (unaimed fire is not directed towards the center of your screen), the aforementioned commander features, and picture-in-picture scope technology.  Basically everything you can do in CoD MP and more, minus zombies.

They did it in the past.  Call of Duty, Call of Duty: United Offensive, Call of Duty: Finest Hour, Call of Duty: Big Red One, Call of Duty 2, Call of Duty 3.  The only offense they truly have to worry about from a sales perspective is offending the German government and getting the game banned from the country.  I don't believe any of the CoD games I just mentioned were banned from Germany but I could be wrong.
