Problem description: Removed 980 TI SLI setup and replaced with single 1080TI.  Now I can only get 2 monitors to display.  Third one is there but won't extend.

Attempted fixes: Did a full DDU run, same issue.  Installed fresh windows on spare drive, same issue.  Went back to my old windows load and am about to updated the bios on the Mobo, same issue.

Recent changes: See problem.

--

Operating system: Win 8.1 64bit

System specs: evga 1080ti

I have Googled and read the FAQ: Yes

I took my time, installed everything sober.  Pop the old cards out, new card in.
Black screen on boot.  Reset CMOS and at least that got it to show the bios splash screen.
Went in checked all my boot settings.  Unplugged and tested boot using each drive seperately.
Ended up having to run windows install and do a repair.  Naturally all this did was delete the video drivers.
It appeared to work, but when I installed the new drivers I got to the point I'm at now.
The "non-working" port appears the be the bottom port on the card.
Just wondering what possibilities I'm missing.

Sounds like bad Video Cables, you should test your cables as well and each port on your Monitors with each port on the Graphics Card.

I've done all that, the consistent issue is the bottom port on the VIDEO CARD.

edited cause i'm an idiot.  It appears to be the bottom dp on the card, all 3 monitors work fine.

Then it could be the Bottom Port on your Monitor and not your Graphics Card.

Sorry I had a brain fart, I corrected myself, it's the card that appears to have the issue.

Got my new card today and everything went as it should have the first time.  Not sure how it got through QC but the bottom display port was dead.  Everything else on the card worked fine other than that port.

thing is if you google that up like hdmi ,  or display ports stopped or not working  you see that's one of them things that's happens wioth a 900 series [and 10 series it seems as well ]   - like gigabyte cards got this seems the most  reported  .  its not just a evga thing   so you got to look a NVidia design in all on why that is with all brands

lot of forums and reviews like from newegg shows that  .   heck I never had reason to use  this cards hdmi or display port as of yet for all I know they may be bad on it as well ???   so far the dvi-I to hdmi has work with out issue so far  ????

anyway glad to se your replacement card is as expected and working fine
