Hi,

I just finished assembling my new pc. When i shut it down the middle right fan keeps ticking left and right ( like 1 min. Clockwise and 1 min counter clockwise) only way to stop it is to shut off the psu. Any hints would be appreciated.

Cheers!

Is it all the fans or just one? Also is the computer in sleep mode or is it fully turned off? Are the fans connected to the motherboard or are they connected to the PSU?

Can you power a different fan with the same connection? That way it would rule out it being a problem with just that fan. Also how is the monitor connected?

Tried fan with same connection, same problem.  Also, when that happens, the case power button, temperature display, and mode setting light are also flashing.
(random quick flashes, not the same as when pc is in sleep mode).

Switching the ErP in BIOS to s5 fixed that issue.  But of course, now i cannot use any USB port to charge misc. devices when it's shutdown.

    Cheers!
