Yes. Had to wait 15+ minutes. It's a pain in the bum. Hopefully it doesn't last all weekend, but since it's a holiday weekend it probably will.

Been seeing it a lot the last couple days.
Optimally they'll get the down servers either fixed, or pulled out of the assignment que 'till they ARE fixed, very soon.
Now that vorsholk has stopped his abuse, I'm returning to folding. I no longer MOO due to abuses by certain "whales" in the Gridcoin community - so I now work the Distributed.net project directly again.

On the plus side, the work units I am getting are getting me almost 900k pdd on my 1080's. Most points I have ever gotten. Currently getting 1.73m ppd

Checked my 3 PCs this morning - same issue, lost 8 to 12 hours - server did not assign work unit  1) Restarting a Win 7 machine with one GPU - this did get a work unit  2) Nibbler 3 - GPU machine, Restart Win 10 machine - No Joy Confirmed the version and GPU drive was not updated - Server issue 2 - GPU still stuck on dead/ missing server  Work server:171.67.108.105 Collection server: 0.0.0.0 (what the ?) 1 - GPU changed to working server Work server:140.163.4.233 Collection server: 171.67.108.64 What file(s) need to be manually deleted to get a new server ? <as rebooting twice did Not do the job> Update: Finally - server was automatically changed

To Many DOWNED Servers ATM. Being a Holiday Weekend it might be best to take a Folding Break and Crunch GPU Tasks over on BOINC. Going for Seti@home myself, we could use the Points.

Holy mackerel BATMAN, them end of the month folders just got jacked. Sucks to lose so many servers on a long weekend. Guess we'll just have to switch to crunching.

I am having major server issues. I've only got 3 out of 5 GPUs working and that is with removing the GPU slots and adding them back. Now some are running and some are not.

That's because the admins merged 5 posts together that were dealing with this. It was not easy to find this information. It hurt my head a lot trying to locate a fix for this.

Post #15 https://forums.evga.com/FindPost/2675269Seems to have "fixed" the issue on my two Win 10 machines -- as they use the stock MS firewall and this has stopped them from getting stuck on a server that was not available. Wish the folding software would just kick to a new server after three tries instead of hours of WU not assigned Sometimes pausing for the length of a retry (counter on advanced control screen) and then re-enabling folding did work - if you see that it is stuck

I've had a couple times that pausing a slot for 20-30 secs then restarting would get it going again - but usually not.
MOST of the time shutting down the folding client entirely then restarting it will fix *ONE* slot - but doing that multiple times never seems to fix any of the other slots.
The only 100% "get it going again" fix I've found so far is a complete system reboot - which is very irritating to lose part of the work out of *2* GPUs to get the third one going again, but at least it DOES work.
I'm going to have to dig into my router appliance, see if I can set "block" rules in there for the borked assignment servers.

8 for 8 and this works without the Firewall Rule.
Exit the Client Software then Quit and then start the Client Software back up it get a WU at lest the last 8 times I have done this.
