Hello guys. I decided to make a post about the GTX 1080 Ti FTW Hybrid card. So far we know that it is going to come, but (at least, as far as I know) we don't know when. I was just wondering if EVGA could give us a rough ballpark of when it is coming? I have been waiting for the FTW version for quite a while now, and, as this is the last part to completing my build, I just would like to know how long I need to wait. Like what are we talking about here EVGA, few weeks, months, years (lol)? I realize that the SC2 Hybrid is out, and that the SC2 Hybrid and the FTW Hybrid will probably show no performance gains, but hey, I like my RGB, OK (lol)? Sorry if this is a slightly pointless post, Im just looking for information.

Likewise, with no timeline I can't very well make a good decision on (a) wait for FTW HYBRID or (b) Buy SC2 HYBRID - I was ready to buy last month. Keep an eye on EVGA Twitter accounts like Jacobs, as there is occasional some info there.

    C'mon EVGA, help us out.

Same here, just want some information. If it's weeks then I can wait but If they say it could be a couple of months or longer then I will just go for the SC Hybrid. It's the not knowing which is making it difficult. It's been over a 2 week wait now since we first hard about the FTW Hybrid.

I have visions of buying an SC Hybrid now, which has no upgrade or trade-in path, only for them to release some dates/info about the FTW Hybrid the day after but then I'll be stuck with my SC Hybrid lol

If they give any kind of ball park time frame they will be slammed if it doesn't come at that point.  It can also possibly reduce sales on current offerings.  They never respond to these types of posts.  I do hope it releases soon for you guys.  Seems like a long time to wait.  I've been enjoying my 1080ti for 2 1/2 months already.

You'll get the same performance from both cards.. I vote that you get what is available right away. The only difference in the two is width of the card, power connectors, and VRM... that isnt going to change how the GP102 core functions.

*edited in, as i failed to mention that the SC2 has 6 and 8 pin power, where the ftw3 has two 8 pins.. still wont change the function of the card though.

Remember how SC2 Hybrid was "announced"

Will be no different with FTW. Just wait and watch.

If the FTW Hybrid doesn't make use of the new third fan header on the PCB to allow pump control from precision XOC, then they missed a golden opportunity.
