Several motherboard manufacturers might offer Optane bundles in order to help drive sales and also reduce the price of the bundle as compared to buying each item separately.

    i think intel is realizing that optane is a flop and are trying to push the numbers up, why dont they just let the 100 series chipsets use it also, i know its possible since the last gen xeon business chipsets will work with it but not the consumer side is complete BS

    Sometimes it is difficult to figure out what direction Intel is heading with this but there is continuing development of Optane based memory DIMM.
