Hello gents,

Quick question, can I use the M.2 on Z270 FTW K to hook up the Intel WIFI/BT combo? (Intel 7265) If not that particular adapter, can you suggest or recommend something else? (i really need to keep everything clean so an extra card is out of the question, and there is no router close to that computer so wifi is the only option.

Thanks!

yes, use the Key E slot. but watch which one you get, most of the ones on newegg are mini pcie which will not work, you need the m.2 NGFF card, you will also need the antenna kit which you should have knockout on your i/o shield for. here is the one i bought, if you scroll down a bit you will see the kit package. https://www.amazon.com/Wireless-8260AC-8260NGW-Bluetooth-Wireless/dp/B01ERMBDCK/ref=pd_cp_147_3?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B01ERMBDCK&pd_rd_r=HZV7H1BQ7C3Y9VT4ZHZF&pd_rd_w=cZ7d4&pd_rd_wg=Cmpaw&psc=1&refRID=HZV7H1BQ7C3Y9VT4ZHZF
