Im in the process of an upgrade going from an Z87 to a Z270 at the time of that build a 80 gig ssd was a bazillion dollars  (maybe not a bazillion but a quadrillion at the least) any way I put a ton of money in that build an EVGA 780TI  , I74770K and a $350 + mobo (never make that mistake again) I already got my EVGA 1070 and im going with I7 7700k and a 170 to 200 mobo ok let me get to the point I have 2 1TB HDD Hybrids and been running in Raid 0  (I know stone age ) I have been reading about the intel optane memory increasing HDD speeds 5 to 7 times faster .my budget doesn't allow for 2 tb ssd but this optane memory seems worth a try since the 16 GB is less than 50 bux and the 32 about $80 any testimonials?? also can you run HDD Raid 0 with the optane memory.anyThx in advance 

   I built a new pc with 2 hard drives 2gig in a raid0 so I sure hope it works as Optane can only work with one drive. Cant tell you if it will work or not because I can not find one in stock. Preordered long ago but they have not charged me yet. I built this whole pc just for Optane. I have 3 gig in games no way I can afford 3 gigs in ssd and I like one huge C drive not drives everywhere. Down with liquid cooling! Air cool forever! God I am old..
