Since trying to find the ACX Cooler for this thing is going to be hit or miss, looking at what my other options for air cooling this card are.  I would at least love to find the backplate, it's available through the EU store but being in the US I can't buy from there.  So that falls under hit or miss category as well.

For the kind of games I play this card should last me a long awhile, I don't plan on OC'ing it but want to keep it as cool and happy as possible for those years...granted life happens and something might happen to the card (my first Titan X just literally went up in smoke and now I have a fresh from RMA card) - but I'm going to hope for the best and do what I can via aftermarket cooler to keep it in the best condition I can.

So with that said, anyone know any after market coolers besides the ACX for this thing?

I am going to use an after market bracket and an Corsair H90 all in one water cooler on my Titan X
Did it with my GTX980Ti with a H100 and it works better than the EVGA Hybrid kit I have on my other GTX980Ti

Alright, over three weeks and 2 RMAs it seems I have a card that is actually working.  Played a little bit of FFXIV last night, no combat just ran around and the card hit 83C almost right away (ambient temperature was 62F).  I downloaded EVGA Precision and to keep my card in the 70s and below I need to have my fan speed at least at 80% - again, this was just running about, no combat or raiding was taking place.

At 80%+ fan speed the thing is loud...holy crap is it loud.  I need an aftermarket cooling solution ASAP.  The Artic Cooler linked above won't work because I have a Z87 board and as per several Newegg reviews, it won't fit.  EVGA is no longer offering the ACX Cooler in the US and I can't buy it from the Euro site.  So is that my options for air?  Never really planned to go to a water solution, but I may have to.  If I go this route I'll look at the AIO coolers that are out and about nowadays vs a custom loop.

Why can't you buy from EU ?
We order stuff all over the world too .... so that must be no issue i think.

Otherwise AIO or custom water loop is the way to go.
