I've mostly just bought the Corsair aio coolers in the past, but I was wondering what everyone thought is the best aio cooler out today. Price isn't an issue. I just want one that provides great cooling and lasts a long time. What is everyone's thoughts on which one is the best?

Define AIO coolers I really don't know.
If your talking air coolers then I would suggest Noctua as the best, 6 year warranty.
I bought 2 to replace the Intel stock cooler on my LGA 1366 motherboards.
I also bought 2 140 mm pmw fans which cost about $30 each with shipping, very silent.
The coolers dropped my temp on 1 motherboard about 20c and on the other 15c.

Usually when people use AIO they mean the water coolers.

I used Corsair for years, H50/80/100 and recently upgraded? to the TT 360mm rad AIO.  I don't see much in a difference, did it for the looks more so then anything else.  I'm pleased with it though, love the look, keeps everything cool and quiet so I didn't mind spending the extra dollars for the 'bling' factor.

I don't know but looks like NZXT have some recipe for excellent performance.
But now probably is best H115i and H110i.
All of them are up to 5C difference, depend a lot from fans.
I would use now maybe EVGA CLC280 with 2x CORSAIR ML140mm Pro or ML140 fans, depend of color you like.
Two of these fit perfect of EVGA CLC AIO...

Excellent fans are very important, always better to choose best fans than default version.
I hear ML140 and I would not have problem to keep them on 2000 RPM.
Only reason why I didn't bought ML fans is because I didn't decide about size of radiator 120 or 140.
But now when market offer excellent 140mm models maybe is better bigger 140/280/420.
Before 5-6 years 120mm radiator was better choice because limited number of 140mm fans, mostly some LED decorative models.
Now EKWB Vardar, CORSAIR ML140, Noiseblocker NB e-Loop 140mm is available in white and black color. Work amazing.
This model is excellent as well for CLC280

CORSAIR ML140 Pro PWM is better choice because 400-2000RPM. E-loop is only up to 1400RPM.
I would not use that for AIO System, only for some radiators in custom loop if silence is rule No 1.

I bought the Corsair H100i v2 for my 6950X, worked well for that CPU.
Go to Frozen CPU.com for water cooled solutions.

I just saw this results, now EVGA CLC280 look even better in my eyes.
Definitely it not mistake to choose instead CORSAIR.
From CORSAIR AIO I like mostly H110i, but I know that H115i is better performer because type of pump.

But fans should be replaced, ML140 will give similar performance on 2000 as other fans on 2200-2300RPM, maybe even better and more silent.

Re: Best AIO cooler? 2017/05/06 19:10:58 (permalink)
I would like to EVGA design expandable system.
Same as EKWB Predator. That would be awesome and demand for HydroCopper models would be bigger.
Combination of AIO for CPU and GPU block for GeForce to be 250-260$.
I'm sure EVGA could build nicer than Swiftech X220 Prestige.
Because that's one step below full custom loop and one step above AIO system.
For people who want to cooldown hardware overclocked max without extreme overlocking but no money 400-500$ for custom loop.
It could be done for 350 but without GPU block. But if price is 250-260 or 280$ with GPU Block that would be nice.
But last 3-4 years I didn't overclock hardware so high and normal AIO was enough. Except with i7-3770K, in that period I really need custom loop because I had stable 5.0GHz, only temperature was problems, with 20C lower temps I could reach that spot.
Now I would need watercooling for 4.5GHz on i7-5820K but I think that would not be some huge difference from 4.2 and maybe is better to think on X299. I want when many customers change to AM4 Intel to launch nice processor with better memory optimization, same or better performance than 1800X and much better memory write-read-copy results than AMD and I would upgrade on Intel.
And than when people compare 3200MHz DDR4 on X299 with 3200MHz on AM3 X370 difference will be huge and all SSD, M.2, extraction, unpacking, everything will work faster, faster.

I have really good experience with corsair, i have used this h100i for a few years now and it has worked quite well, but i am looking at changing to a newer setup, at least a 280 rad size, i really like the semi custom swiftech but the reviews forit are so-so, alot of leaking issues. so now im torn, do i go with a typical AIO, a kinda custom or for custom? so many choices

I kinda have to give the Swiftech H220X a fail for the AIO.  Even though mine was used to integrate a second pump and rad to my custom loop it had a slow leak and finally the plexi cracked enough for it to drip badly after a year.  Had to rip out the entire custom loop because I was not leaving a single pump to determine the fate of a mobo, cpu, and my former two GTX titans.  I give Switftech props on making such a flexible use AIO unit with a real full size pump but it had it's flaws.

Luckily I upgraded my water cooled titans with a stock cooler Titan X just before the leak or I would be in bad shape.  I am currently using the Corsair H100i V2 and it's been pretty solid.  Used it on two other builds that I have done for clients.  Pretty solid construction from what I could tell.  Biggest thing I do not like is the USB cable thing for it but that's minor.

to be honest i've gone with corsair a lot of times and they tend to die on me after a few years. So if you're still looking for a decent cooler that will last longer than "few" years then go for the EVGA CLC 28, trust me this thing is a beast. Also check https://appuals.com/best-..liquid-coolers/ to get a broader view on today's market's best AIOs.
